clickbank via articlebase

Hi BHW members
I hear alot on article marketing, so i decided to write articles(unique) and submit on articlebase. but the problem still persist, I dont get much viewers to my articles. can I use some blackhat method or SEO or simply rinse and repeat with several products?
some one suggested that your article is auto-syndicated and dont need of any SEO method is it true?

IMO article marketing is more challenging these days. check the last page on this thread where
OP (Tvision10) said "it does not work the way it once did, if at all anymore" and
