Alright, so here is my scenario;
I have been running my website since prior to penguin and panda. In the past my SEO plans was a lot messier than it should have been and now I am paying the price in SERPs. Google has never sent me formal acknowledgement of any search result penalty but has basically buried my site. Here is what I have done;
I was sloppy with my backlinking! (AMR, Bookmarking Deamon, Scrapebox (amazing tool!), various directory submissions)
Matt Cutts mentionnes penalty (it does exist) as well as the disavow tool and I am looking to go more white hat so I was looking to put a list together of all my bad links. There is a risk to the disavow tool on the other hand and I am looking to mitigate that risk by comparing note.
Work Order:
- produce a list of all links pointing toward my domain
- indicate which link are bad, negatively effect SERPs or are spammy
- submit report in .xls
