If you want it to go big, include ALL countries in the world with their cities, don´t just go for US, since there are some billions of people outside the great US .. =)

find good classified plugin for wordpress or even ready CMS for this

And I am not agree for global site. If you ask such question, I guess you don't have money to promote such site. Start from local or niche site

I would say this is your first website or near that.
This niche is dominated by big dogs, yes you can say the same about almost any niche but it is especially true about CS.
Maybe you will have greater chance if you create more nich-specific CS or something like that.

With the big players dominating you will have trouble. Best to focus on a niche rather than try to take them on. why would i bother to list my items on your site with very little traffic instead of one of the big sites with millions of visitors. Don't forget you'll also need an SSL as you are collecting and storing user information so everything needs to be secure.

Start small and niche. You need to gain trust in consumers to be successful.

Moderating and staffing a giant website with 1,000 different functions will be next to impossible unless you have the knowledge base and investment to do so.

Go look at where CraigsList was back in 1998 compared to now. They were much more limited back then.

Look at Google. They didn't open their company with search, adwords, GA, GSC, Google Suite, Google business, cars, Google Developers (the resource), the forum, Gmail, etc. (the technology wasn't around back then for all that but you get the point). if they did, they would have run out of money before they made any.

A company doesn't start as a fortune 500 company. It starts by fulfilling a market need to the consumer.
