Class C ips?

Quite simply, different class C ips allow you to masquerade as multiple different people/websites.

The whole goal of SEO is to get backlinks that are genuine.

Genuine means:
-unsolicited
-definitely not put there by you

Since you don't have control over other people's websites, there is no active/immediate way to get backlinks from other people's websites....

...unless...

you ARE that "other" person. ;)

When the search engines spider a site and look at its backlinks, they know the IP of the website. If they see it linking to a bunch of other websites on the same IP....something is "fishy" about it.

On the other hand, if site A links to site B and they are on completely different IP addresses, there is no suspicion.

this could be useful information for me so if I have a server with a class c I would assign to it 256 website and get 256 unique links :) Who needs hosting ? :)
 
But why can't i just spend that $100 for 5 backlinks on something else like outsourcing articles with links on them?

So if my main site is 111.111.1.1, can I use 222.222.2.2 for 100 sites pointing to my main one?

Its better to try and have link from different ip's, if they all come from the same ip it is still suspicious and looked for by search engines.

Look closely.

A and B are in the same C Class
C and D are in different C Classes

IP "A" might host nonchessguysblog.com
IP "B" might host nonchessguysmainsite.com...one links to the other but Google is not fooled and the link is devalued.

IP "C" might host nonchessguysblog.com
IP "D" might host nonchessguysmainsite.com...one links to the other and Google gladly counts the link as an independent editorial endorsement.

It's called "india" nets. Where are the servers? if you you do a geoip lookup on the ips they provide, where are they? Don't forget that you get what you pay for. I noticed too that they are waaaaay cheaper than every other outfit out there. Probably a reason for it....

seohosting is hostgator and hostgator is pretty reputable, so it's not a scam...
those prices are very reasonable and the ips are most likely USA-based since they are a US company.
 
First to answer the question about SEO Hosting....we have been using them now for about 7 or 8 months and have not had a single issue with them. We were using a number of different hosting companies and had all kinds of problems with down times ect. So 2 thumbs up for SEO Hosting.

Most of my blogs that I use for adsense I also use for various backlinking activities. It's been my experience that Google gives more weight to backlinks from different Class C IPs.

If you own and cross link different sites it may be more efficient (for SEO purposes) to host them on different Class C IP ranges.

I'm always trying to hide something from the google so I like to have different Class C IPs.

Do you need a different class C IP? Depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Seo hosting is a must have if you are looking to build up a sites if you have a few and want to juice them yourself. Very effective!

If anyone need like a few sites on there own c-class let me know i can hook you up. Serious people only.

I've used 1ndiaN3ts before, and I thought they were great. (The only reason that I canceled my accounts was that I discontinued the project for which I needed multiple C-Class IPs.) The customer service is excellent, and I didn't have any problems with downtime. As for their servers, you have the option of hosting in India or the U.S. They'll even do private nameservers and non-sequential C classes if you ask them. SE0Hosting.c0m does not guarantee that you will get non-sequential C-Class IPs. Nor does G0tW3bH0st.c0m.
 
I use GotWebHost because I need a dedicated server (my site heavily uses database content, some of which needs to be stored in memory)- I have 20 c-class IPs and a few hundred sites. Service there has been good. Its a little pricy, but with the value of interlinking dozens or hundreds of sites, it can be worth it. I say "can" because we are still in the process of gauging how the interlinking is improving our site traffic- so I can post more on results later.
 
i did a partial switch from hostgator seohosting.com to seo-host.com about 2 months ago. i was happy with hostgator but wanted to explore other possibilities, including lower price per month as i was looking to upgrade to 100+IPs.

setup was exactly the same, support was good, everything went well, until this week...when all outbound emails stopped working with "rejected due to poor reputation" or "spamhaus" notice/error return.

support said that the issue has been resolved and everything will be ok as soon as other hosts refresh their spam list cache...

wondering if anyone is using their service and/or has experienced the same issues. obviously i got f*cked due to some neighbours actions...but how long can it take before my IP gets accepted again, if ever?
 
i plan to use c class with autoblogs and link them to a whitehat site which i plan to rank well for quite a competitive keyword. Has anyone been successful at doing this?
