citing sources on AC?

Hi People, I know you can cite sources by linking to them within the article content. But guidelines on AC also say it is necessary to add author, title of the page etc. at the end of the article. Is this really required? I would like to know how u people do this.

Also when uploading images do we have control on how the images are formatted with respect to content?

Whenever I cite my sources on my articles, I usually just take them onto the bottom like:

Sources:

http://source.com/

I've never had an article rejected due to not including extra information, hwoever, I would recommend following their format if you are doing a Call for Content article.
