Hi SEO experts,

I'm starting to build links to a personal brand(SEO/Digital Marketing) website.

What citations should I build to overtake first page of Google(for person's name; unique) with some citations of the personal profiles aside from twitter/linkedin etc?

I think you should learn your competitors in the SERP first and then based on that information work on your own plan.
That is the easiest way. But you want to associate your web site with your personality? Or with services or content provided on your web site?

Yeah, associate website to the person. There is no competition as I only want to rank for the name of the person, let's say "Chris J. William"(even more rarely used name). Its an EDM as the domain is already based on person's name.

You should try to find a freelancer patform in your place.
Find for your niche (or others), but since they are "name branded", google their name, you'll find plenty of profiles in your niche to go on and fill easily the first page

Thanks,

Another thing, let's say I do not want to give the "looking for work" impression to user who searched the name?

Citations can occur on local business directories, on websites and apps, and on social platforms. Citations help Internet users to discover local businesses and can also impact local search engine rankings. Local businesses can actively manage many citations to ensure data accuracy.

I see. But in this case what would be the relevance of the traffic? Would they be a kind of visitors you have been looking for?

what I would do:

1- replicate competing links
2 - Buy reviews on websites in the sector seo, marketing... dropshipping

the anchor text? in the free manual links all generic. And in the paid ones exact anchor text(your name, profesional seo.. etc)

This is for the branded search, people who already know the client name and want to find him on Google.

In general, I'm writing content to rank related to the person's niche.

You should build all the popular citations for your website and check the competitors citation links and build that one's also.

If you don't have any location or GMB, then you can also use the fake address of your targeted location.
