Checkpoints : 25k - 50k - 100k -> Lets do it.

Thank you OP for this this thread and your persistence. It continues to serve as great motivation to keep me going on my accounts. Excited for new updates!

Update #5

I slightly increased the amount of Follows/day and decreased the Unfollowings.
Average likes in the last 7 days must be something around 2200.
The picture I posted two days ago just hit 3000 likes! Really nice. I always enjoy these first-time-checkpoints :P
Current Follower Count: 18450

To be continued...

You have really good engagement, how many posts do you have on Instagram in total and how many pic do you post a day?

Damn I feel like a noob right now. :') was getting happy with my 6k followers account (took some time lol)

around 270 posts :)
I post once daily. But I do this since I started the Account. Its rare that I post two pictures.

Great journey you have there.. Are you following and unfollowing on the same day?

I also read that you unfollowed 3k ..in that in a day or 1.5k a day? what delay do you use for unfollowing?
I have an account that averages 400 followers or so per day (well at least in the last couple of day) it's at 12k right now and it sure does feel great :)

So your account has been around for about 270 days?

Im not like other users around here, only chasing the big money.
I love the stuff I post and I love having a big audience. Money is just secondary.
Thats why I didnt really bother to get more knowledge about how to properly monetize this.

YES! agree with you. I am also on the same exact page, i got 800 followers in 3 days, just started.

I think I did 3k in 24 hours but im not sure. You can unfollow a lot of people in 1 day I think. But I dont really know.

So your account has been around for about 270 days?

No. I created the Account in September/October 2014. Somewhere around that time. I posted many Pictures when I created the Account though. And sometimes I posted twice a day. That may be why :P

I can see how 3k unfollows is reasonable. At least for me, IG paid more attention to following too much than unfollowing. I think I got around 2.2K unfollows in 24 hours followed by another 2.3K the next day. I had to go through a few captchas, but I was just testing limits at like unfollow every 3-4 seconds. Something crazy like that. However when I followed around 1.7K every 7-11 seconds, I got banned for like half a day.

Yes... IG pays dust to the rate you are unfollowing. I have unfollowed like 2k-3k in a day in multiple accounts never had a problem... I unfollow for some reasons: 1 - Open space to follow new people that can eventually follow me back, 2 - Clean up and have a good looking acc (From a user point of view, I don't like going to someone's accounts and seeing they follow thousands of people, even though they can have three times the number of that in followers, I think it looks dirty). I try keep my followings under 1,5k. Right now I run two accs, one with over 26k followers and at this moment 900 followings and another with 3k followers and about 1,3 following... You can see which one looks worse. The former is a lot successful, with about 300-500 new followers per day, while the latter is somewhat struggling (under 100 new followers per day, but usually around 50-80).

What I find amusing is the amount of engagmenets OP is getting. I mean, with my 26k account, I usually get about 250-300 likes within the first hour I've posted a new pic, with about 100 likes in just 10 min. In 24h it usually gets to around 750-900 likes (and I've noticed this total amount doesn't really depend on the time I post the content). Some pics ocasionally surpass 1k in likes. The thing is I've been with this average of likes since my account had about 18-19k followers and I don't know what's possibly wrong with it, as it has grown nearly 7k followers since (in the timespan of 3 weeks).

This account with 26k followers has an accompanying website (which registers a number between 100 and 150 unique visitors per day, in average, having had peaks of 250-300 visits depending on how much new content was posted in a day). The IG account is not monetized, I post organic pics with, sometimes, mentions to website (like, see more at website). I don't do CPA offers or paid shout-outs (sometimes I shoutout accounts in the same niche, without even asking money for it...). The thing is also, I've been receiving about 100-150 unique visits a day since this account only had 10k in followers and Instagram is the primary promoting platform, with nearly the triple of followers, the amount of visitors in the website has remained the same and it really gets me wondering.

Every post of me is basically a "shout-out", since I tag the respective owner of the picture to avoid getting reported.
This means, around 250 out of 270 pictures that I've posted are "shoutouts", which were free ( I need content to post and they get some Attention )
If I post a Picture without tagging the owner, then I might risk that people will get mad and the worst consequence could be that my Account gets banned.
However...

Update #6

Was not at home for two days, but my Bot was online 24/7.
Nothing surprising happened. The last picture I posted (yesterday) is at 2,3k likes and 70 comments.
Followercount: 19184

Your engagement really baffles me, you said you are in the nature niche?

When ilook at your pictures i see that you usually do a descriptive caption such as:

"This is how i look when i have to get up early"

But you also do question and direct personal captions such as:

"What are you doing today?"
or
"I want a *censored*!"

What works best for you? Do you see different results with different caption styles or is it simply a situational thing you do?

No, animals.

Tbh I do whatever pops into my mind. I dont post Captions to gain more Attention. I dont even know how that works.
I see many Accounts doing something like "Tag your friends, tag somebody who would like this" etc.
In my opinion, this kind of Caption is overused and people know that you dont really care about their opinion.
Personal Captions, however, show that you sometimes bring in your own opinion about the picture you post. People like that I guess.

Just a quick question, how many unfollows do you do a day by botting durig unfollowing periods? Currently I'm doing one every 35-75 but my account is really old (1+ year) so it would be awesome if i can safely bump up these setting to make the process take less time.

1000 or so. It does not really matter, IG doesnt care how many people you unfollow

Don't expect your engagement like ratio to be the same percent when you hit 100k etc... Instagram alters your public presence the larger you get. E.g you won't show up in explore tab as much even though you are getting liked twice as much...
