Hello OP. I recently joined this forum (still getting the hang of it) and purchased FL a few weeks ago but cannot get anywhere near the results you are getting. Any chance you would be able to share your settings/guide me in the right direction? I am gaining roughly 100 followers (+/- 30) per day (about) and see people reporting 400+ per day. My account is a niche account with high quality photos if it helps any. Thanks
I think many factors do play a role in this.
1) The more followers you have, the more people will follow you (because they think more follower -> better content) -> snowball effect - Patience is the key.
2) Pictures have to be high quality
3) The more competition you have, the more effort you have to put in your account. If the competition is low, logically more people will follow your Account.
4) The Settings you use in FL surely do play a role too. This also depends on your Account. How old is it? I follow somewhere around 1100 people a day and unfollow same amount.
5) Don't have too many shoutouts/advertisement/other bulls*** on your Instagram-page. People won't follow you.
6) You don't necessarily have to actively participate in discussion in your comments, but it is nice if you somehow manage to show your followers that you are a nice guy
(I do this by thanking my followers in the caption, commenting my own pictures sometimes and being friendly all the time)
7) Maybe the most important of all this: LOVE what you post. If you have fun posting these kinds of pictures and would follow your own account if someone else owned it, then you are on the right track.
If you don't like your Instagram-page, why should other people? SHOW your Passion for your Instagram Account and the money will roll in at some point.
