I always wondered how viable cold calling was as a personal business. Spent a few years working as a telemarketer. Hated it but, I was always one of the top people. I wouldn't mind doing it if I could get like a hundred buck a pop per sale or something.

Well if you can do SEO, cold calling to sell it is the way forward. Just do your research on the customer and have a clear proposal for when they answer.

Remember, they would have been cold called for SEO about 100 times in the past year so be different.

i had a time when i was super poor student and had to work for 1 month as a cold caller for one Internet provider company
this job was the worst i ve i ever faced. but as i remember i earned around 600$.

i done a load of good interesting marketing sales jobs .

i use to have a big bag of whole sale stuff you take on the streets to sell if you sell a lot you ring a massive bell to show others you sold out.

was fun ok .

dint enjoy the walking must admit peed me off i rang the bell one or twice (( mates business in the end lounged around in his office and watch him interview ppl ....

.....

i learned sales and respect others and respect new trainers lol

Thanks for the tip. I do SEO and Content creation, so I'm open to anything that brings me more clients.

Yeah. I made decent money but it was one of the most humiliating jobs I ever had. They literally used to shame people who didn't make sales and the company was super shady so I ended up getting screwed out of about $300 in bonuses.

I do like the idea of cold calling people from home though. I'm sure I would get a few sales per day given my past experience. Just have to find some good leads I guess, then I'll invest in an autodialer.

LOL, sounds like my job but I hated all that bell ringing crap. Felt kinda degrading to me.
