I wanted to ask someone who has experience specifically with Chaturbate affiliate programs..

Currently, I am earning both ways and when I do my analysis, if all my affiliate links would point to RevShare I would make 7 times more.
This is based on 60$/month average with most affiliate links are 1$ per signup.

I analyzed it by summing up the amount of hits I had in each program and then dividing on the amount of $ I got from each of them.

Wanted to know if someone else has the same or a different experience.

Thanks!

This is something you're going to have to split test on your own. I've personally made more with rev share, but you'll need to test out your traffic to know exactly what works for you. Good luck!

Well, from my splitting it was the same. Good to know it was same for you..

The key to a successful test of this nature is adaptation. That is to say that since you identified the better performing offer it can be quite pointless to direct that traffic to the $1 sign-ups. If it reduces your earnings per click, then you are sending the traffic to the wrong offer. It's that simple. Switch to the Revshare altogether as it has better EPC, and a better residual return opportunity. Good luck!

If someone had a different experience than that, it's likely because they paid for their traffic through a network, or direct media buys. Free and/or cheap adult traffic almost always performs better in a revshare model assuming you have the traffic to make it worthwhile. If you don't have lots of clicks and sales opportunities, then $1 Pay-Per-Signup can be better. Very rarely I think.

Great advice here.

Yes, that's what I did of course :)
Ok, thanks!

You can split test but I am going to tell you there isn't a month that goes by that I don 't make more money with rev share than I would with sign ups. For example past two weeks I had 220 sign ups but I made $363 rev share. It takes longer but it's worth it.

I already had it split, but the focus was more on the 1$ signups. And from my analysis I would had earned 7 times more on RevShare. So, since my results and everyone confirms they have the same results, I am going to stick to RevShare everywhere.

well, if you do revshare, all registrations count what you accumulated in the previous payment cycles too, not just that 220, you cannot really say that you made $363 from 220 free sign ups, you can get a better picture taking a look at the CSV transaction log, it will show exactly which one of your free regs purchased something and when, the amount, your cut, their registration date, country
i'm pretty sure, that you'll find people purchasing tokens in the actual payment cycle, who registered in previous payment cycles

how many free regs do you have total in the revshare program?
but it's almost irrelevant, because i clearly remember, that when i started out with the revshare, my 2nd or 3rd free reg purchased some tokens, i got almost $20 and after that there was a big pause, a lot of free regs haven't purchased anything
it's pretty much luck though, if you manage to catch someone who is willing to spend or no

with the $1 free reg program, if your traffic doesn't suck that much, you'll get 1 free reg per 30-40 UVs, that's somewhat guaranteed, if your traffic suck and doesn't convert, that rate will multiply even 10 times in extreme cases
also you need to pay attention to countries, because only tier 1 countries will pay $1/signup, with the revshare countries don't matter

Split test with your traffic source. Create two ads target same setting, one rev share and the other per signup. From there you can track which type have higher ROI. Then scale up.

Depends on traffic source, and how long you wait to make money. CPA/PPL pays immediately, while revshare pays across months as people pay later, even a year later or two. As my nickname says, I handle especially "trash" traffic, which is people who hardly buy anything, so I always use CPA/PPL, pay per free signup offers, but chaturbate some time switches you to revenue share if no one buys ever really; in that case I move to crakrevenue, tubecamgirl, bongacash unless they also switch me to revshare or lower payout deal. You say you made money in revshare, this means your traffic is NOT trash, and so you should use revshare and not CPA/PPL, I think... real trash traffic make nearly NOTHING sales :)
