Hello world

Is Chaturbate affiliate program cookie or session based?

Thank you.

Thanks for replay, so then what about that trend of broadcasters (or their studios) putting ref links on their pages? Why would they do that if user is already visited site?

but there is also session data as i can see on nexturbate.com for any chaturbate cam
With Chrome go to Console > Application > Session Storage

They have 30 day cookie, but keep in mind that they have first cookie rule. So if somebody already has their cookie and come to your website and click your ref link, then signs up on CB, you won't be credited

clear, just wondering why all this information is not available from site itself, not in /terms or anywhere else, didn't ask support AI thou :) Thanks everyone!

are you sure ?
So why some camgirls ask their fans to register a new account with their own f****** affiliate link?

because Chaturbate does not care about affiliates, they do not need, they already earn too much.
you should not be promoting this site which is too popular now. Instead, promote new cam sites (see the list on Nexturbate) you will make more money!

Because cookies expire. There are people, who are on the site for more than 30 days. If someone registers a new account after 30 days they landed on the site first, it will count as a new registration (obviously) and will belong to the new referee, just like the first account belongs to original referee and will keep belonging to it. One can use more than one account or the same account to login to the main site or to white labels too. It was always like this. I had over a hundred WLs, i dropped most of them, i have only a handful now, but i still get credited for users, who registered through those WLs, which i dropped and defunct now. Those people must have found their way to the main site.

It's not the best system, never was.

Taking into account its scale and liberty given to everyone, it seems good enough
Until it's not abused by models, it's a fair system, but when models ask their viewers to register for a new account, they even tell them to delete cookies, it's not that good anymore. This happens lately, but not on a too big scale. The main issue is that using the same account you can be a model and affiliate too, so there can be a motive for shady tactics stealing already registered users from webmasters.

yeah models doing a lot of effort in this area recently, that's what brought me to this question. Just found a good example. This is definitely not good.. what if those users already "raised their spending limit" will they do it again or will they be even able to? Hopefully serious members will not fall for this thing.

I'm sure, i have checked my cookies and they don't overwrite. Girls ask to clear the cookies first and then register new account. But many people from gfy.com forums raported them and CB staff started to send warnings to these stealing bitches.
