Have anyone tried to take article from competitors and ask chat to rewrite and post it on your website does it have any positive effect on ranking~?

In my opinion, it is difficult and risky to do any work in the world without being an expert, so it would be better to take guidance from successful people in the matter.

I have tried and I am unhappy with results.
The output article is readable, but with poor plagiarism score.

I will try and i will update.

I do not thing that only rewrite will work you will need to modify it more to make it unique, is almost the same as paraphrasing it requires a little bit moe of work so you don't get caught red handed.

80/20 rule. it does 80% of the work for you but needs a unique touch-up to truly make it work.

You should touch up on editing skills. Any expert editor can make AI written articles into Gold. This is key to ranking AI Written articles. Using strictly Copy and Paste from Chatgpt won't work. I mean its not impossible but you'll be caught 99.9% of the time. Article should be edited and not sound AI. Not difficult to do this with proper editing skills.

Its not a better technique, mostly people take article from chat GPT and put it in a plagiarism tool and then publish.

I use multiple articles for rewriting a single one and I don't get more than 30% of content from a single article. I sometimes delete or add new information.

I personally tried but I still do not rank for the article generated using this method so I cannot say it's a good idea unless you edit it and add your personal touch, like the other members suggested.

AI content is rip , as we have to spin more and spend money on the tools to filter it .

i would rather create my own articles with chatgpt then rewrite them

It might give you quick content, but it's not a silver bullet for ranking. Google values original, high-quality content. Rewrites can often lack the depth and unique insights that set top-ranking content apart.

Good morning I will talk about my personal experience. I wrote 100 articles with chatgpt and 100 articles by hand. I can Guarantee that since the last Google update that my articles written only by chatgpt are in the top 3. those written by hand have taken a back seat... I copy and paste chatgpt articles without modifying anything. after my website is 10 years old. Does that count for consideration? I don't know .
