I can't PM you being a newbie...
I'm looking for a lot of proxies to create lots of aol accounts.
I think it would be inefficient and cost prohibitive to purchase lists from the forums here.
Would you be able to point me in the right direction to learn more about finding proxies (proxy leaching)?

Hello All,
Attempts over the last few days at configuring Charon for successful anonymous proxy checks have been virtually fruitless. My latest test bore a single anonymous proxy from a block of 10,000 IPs. Considering many in these forums have reported success rates of 1-3% when scanning IP blocks in Charon, a .01% success rate by comparison seems abysmally low.
While various configurations have been used, the configuration used in my latest test - which nearly mirrors the settings suggested in the rightmost screenshot located at Charon's 2025 homepage - is attached below.
Prior to scanning proxies in Charon, IP blocks are attained from Angry IP scanner by scanning IP ranges surrounding "Google Pass" proxies found in Scrapebox. My computer runs on a Quad-4 2.2 Ghz AMD Processor with 3.39 GB usable RAM on a Windows 7 Home SP1 operating system. Comodo Antivirus and Windows Firewall were active during the latest test, though they have both been off in previous tests with similar results.
Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated. Also, thank you -Rhino-, proxygo and others for all the hard work you've put into creating this program and explaining it to others. I'll make sure to give thanks in a moment for this thread.

i personally dont scan with charon i scan with a
port scanner, problem with a port scanner is also when scanning
certain ip blocks you will get thousands of proxies back but only
a small % will be live, learning where to scan to lessen the proxies
you get to have the most working is the trick.
i get about 3/4k anon proxies a day because i no where i want to
scan..

I meant to say "Prior to checking proxies in Charon...." The above proxies used in Charon come from IP ranges scanned by Angry IP scanner. Is Angry IP scanner an acceptable port scanner? If not, what is a better alternative?

Yeah... especially when creating google accounts. They can actually recognize your spamming and ban all of your accounts even if you used 1 proxy per account. Gotta be real careful.

what has this thread for a proxy tester have to do with account making
absolutely squat - keep to the topic or be reported
