this little tutorial was only done to show how to test proxies
proxies using a proxy judge for a live status of the proxie

may ask you didn't berate that one, but here you do.

thank you innozemec, i dont use a host for port scanning and 99% would ban it
due to block ip range scanning , im lucky my isp doesn't care

Why do I get an error sometimes. "Error Opening database GeoIP database file"?

Great tutorial, easy to follow instructions makes this a must-read for anyone regularly using proxies, which is probably most on BHW.

be mentioned, but i went with the basics that most
people will use
 
Hey Proxygo,

With the same config as you and a few other examples, I can't seem to get this working..
Are there any other considerations you might have?

First thought was that some of the video's seemed to search faster than my home pc so I'm also running it on a beefy amazon EC2 instance..
That didn't help as I notice network and cpu are not being utilized much at all.

- might windows limit the number of threads/tcpip connections or is it google?
What do you think could be the bottleneck?

well for example i run xp/sp1 i need this setup to port scan proxies
this is because xp limits the tcp connection on sp2 and above
with sp1 there is no limit, onsp2 there is a security patch in the update
thats closes on 99% of tcp - not sure if that is effecting you or if you
run xp at all ?

I'm trying it on win7 and server '08, I don't think that's an actual concern..I was just throwing out bad ideas..
Ran it for the past couple of hours...
