99% of the time that's the case though. Everyone here is trying to make a buck and most people here have no problem taking that buck from other BH members.

Regarding your next chapter I am a little ahead at the process of finding a niche. So if u don't mind answering my question i would be very grateful.

Let's say i chose some fashion trademark "X" which is internationally recognized primary for manufacturing pants, but it also manufactures other fashion stuff like: shirts, shoes, jackets etc.
So, my question is: Should I go with that niche or it needs to be more specific, something like "X pants for men", "X pants for women", "New X fashion line", "Cleaning X pants", "Black/White X editions" or something like that.
My first thought was to go just with the trademark "X fashion", but I don't know if it's too broad for a niche.
And also I plan to monetize the site just with Adsense, so I wont target any buyer keywords. I'll go with low-competition keywords where google doesn't prefer only e-commerce sites in the serps. So what do u think, should I go with that broad trademark niche or sth more specific for that niche?

In this whole thread alone, there has been multiple people defending t0mmy's name. Every single post by him or referencing him in a good way has "blue" names thanking him. I mean is like if people are all over attacking those that are saying anything bad regarding t0mmy.

Firstly, I don't think you know what the word "grandiose" means.

Secondly, the reason there are so many people defending t0mmy, is because as I mentioned in my first post, he knows what he's talking about. Call it what you want, but of course people will appreciate someone who actually provides useful information to the forum.

Thirdly, you seem to be awfully concerned about the amount of "thanks" he has. Of course they don't mean anything, but then again, would you rather trust someone with 6 thanks and nothing but criticism for apparently every member here with a blue name?

1. What's wrong with posting "half-naked girl ads"? If it works for him, then it works. (And it clearly works). So not sure why that's such a big deal? Everyone has their own ways of advertising. t0mmy just so happens to have his own specific way of doing his banner ads.

2. Take a look at his threads again. I'm sure plenty of people actually find his content valuable. So what if he's linking to his blog or trying to "market his image". He's providing value. Plus, what was wrong with the AMA? He was selected by Damien and he did a fine job with his answers. I don't see what the problem is?

I can't speak for royserpa, but you need to seriously revisit t0mmy's threads again. Read through them and tell me if you really think they provide no value at all. Like I said, I don't think anyone cares if someone is trying to promote their blog/image... at least they're doing so by posting QUALITY content and not the other way round.

EDIT: And don't bother saying I'm t0mmy's "fan boy" because me and him have a pretty dramatic past and to be honest I'm the last person he would expect to be backing him up on a thread.

Just to emphasize MY point - I don't think there's anything wrong with promoting your blog or yourself SO LONG AS YOU ARE SHARING VALUABLE INFO. And from what I can see on my end, t0mmy is doing just that.

have you read SerpLogic.com? I have no affiliations with t0mmy other than I like what he puts out. Of course he is a marketer, he will promote his services, that's how he pays the bills. Would you rather have someone promote their services right out OR promote them with useful content? In case you don't know this is internet marketing 101.

Never seen a regular member who knows what they are talking about get belittled or be dismissed. Numerous yellow members add value and knowledge to the forum.
Stats and forum metrics mean very little but having said that, if I saw a Yellow Member with stats A and a Blue Member with stats B, I would certainly give more credence to what the Blue member was saying.

site is for guide backup, everyone will be able to read it in one place without ads, optins or crap like that as I am not monetizing or promoting anything on that blog.

It's a decent enough guide. Sure, nothing here is going to get experienced SEO guys creaming their pants but it's solid enough for newbies to get into.

If you don't like the way Roy is sharing, then don't click his threads or follow his blog. If you don't think he is providing any value, then don't waste your time reading what he has to say. Think he is being sketchy, report his thread and let a MOD handle it. I actually would like to see what the OP has planned, and plan to read through his guide and take what I can from it... I wrote this long and abusive post in an effort to let the OP know that some people support what he plans to do, and deter him from letting some of the negative people who have contributed not a damn thing to this community stop him from following through with what he set out to do...
