Last Time In Roy's Full-Fledged SEO Guide...

Last time the main thread was started here in bhw and also started royserpa.com to serve as a backup site for this guide so that anyone can access it even if deleted from BHW ;)

This way we continue with our first chapter, the seo basics!

    ============================

[Chapter #1] SEO Basics ? What it is and how to get started!

What you will find in this awesome guide?

This one is not like others for the sole reason is not a easy money scheme but rather a way to actually create profitable assets that you can well sell them in the future! Or maybe start an agency and sell these exact ways to grow and expand sites and businesses!

So, what will you find in this awesome guide?

Essentially you will find the best way to rank a site for the long term. There may be faster ways but usually are done for a quick buck and if you are anything like me you want to grow sites for the long term!

One thing I have to say is that the only reason my 2 sites got deindexed was because I tried to sell them in BHW (Thread in BHW: BARGAIN! Selling 2 sites, same niche, made $50k+ in last 12 months! ) but unfortunately one of the people I showed the sites to, decided to report them and therefore get them deindexed. If it wasn't for that, the sites would be still at the top, but well crap happens!

Anyway, getting back to this guide, you will find in these pages everything you need to know to successfully rank sites in Google for the long term.

With this knowledge, you will be able to build profitable assets or even start your own seo agancy selling these methods to your clients and in the way, ranking them for profits!

The future is in your hands and with this, you will have an edge over your competition!

SEO Basics ? What it is and how to get started!

If you are new to SEO, SEO basically means Search Engine Optimization, which in other words you basically optimize your website in order for search engines to rank it for relevant keywords in your niche!

With that being said, the major search engine in the market is Google so usually seo means to game the google algorithm for your site to rank high in serps (search engine ranking positions) to gain traffic and later to monetize it with your products or others'.

As ranking in Google its incredibly profitable, big companies spend millions of dollars to get their brand in front of their audience for them to buy whatever these companies offer. So what the small businesses do is basically trying to overcome and outrank these big companies but as Google is so heavily sided to the one that has most money to advertise on adwords or to rank in google, its really hard to actually make a big impact without a big budget.

That's why a lot of people want to learn seo so they can game the system as well and profitably rank their sites for long term success.

Big companies play dirty, so should you in order to win at this ranking ?game?.

Learn the techniques shown below and rank big time!

In seo there are 2 big things:

    > onpage seo
    > offpage seo

Onpage seo simply means what you do in your site (articles, images, videos, links and whatnot) and offpage seo is basically what you can to to your site FROM OTHERS sites! Mix both well and you are on your way to make BIG BUCKS!

I insist that seo should only be one of your many traffic sources and you shouldn't depend on search engines to make money ;)

There are tons of ways you can bring traffic to your site so stay creative and make a boatload of money! ;)

Now to get started, you may want to think or choose one market, niche or vertical you would like to persuit. This will be your main focus until next time where we will discuss onpage seo!

    ============================

    What's coming NEXT!

In this thread we discussed what seo is and how to get started. Though getting started is the first baby step, next time we will discuss onpage seo where you will begin to take action!

Next time is onpage seo which is basically everything you can do on your site to get it started before we get to one of the most important aspects of seo which is offpage seo!

Stay tuned on royserpa.com, which is the site i decided to use as a backup site to make a backup of this awesome guide! There I will post every chapter i post in bhw as well as the same thread for you to read it any time you want!

No offence but why do you even need multiple threads for this?

This thread literately just say What is onpage SEO and what is offpage SEO and that is it. :|

Can't you just put all your information in 1 big thread?

Looks like reputation management to me, similar to what t0mmy does. Post a load of articles on the forum to get your name out there and gain trust for your BST.

Thats the only thing I can come up with for it.

Firstly, could you please read your post back and confirm that it makes sense to you?

Secondly, could you please kindly confirm what facts you believe you are referring to? I stated my opinion, there are no facts in my post at all, just observations with a small theory.

Thirdly, could you please link me to the BHW leaderboard so I can check where I stand and where everyone else stand before I speak as you suggested, I seem to be struggling to find it. I honestly wouldent mind checking where I stand in comparison to you :).

Fourthly, kindly confirm who you are attempting to depend, Roy, Tommy or both? Although I fail to see how my post was insulting to either, for some reason you seem to see something myself and everyone else who has seen my post failed to see but I would be in a better position to respond if you had clarified that in your reply.

Finally, please kindly confirm why you think Roy and Tommy doing reputation management on BHW is a bad thing?

Quite a few threads these days aimed at directing traffic to blogs. Not a bad idea but make sure you contribute something unique and helpful.

    Hey Roy,

I've got nothing against what you are doing, but the way you are going about it is wrong, wrong, wrong.

I too have a minimal, ad-free site where I share my best threads, a running listing of my current high-viewed journey thread, and other things that pop into my head. I have the link in my signature.

I think this would be a lot better received if it was contained to one single thread instead of a new thread for each small section. As it stands, you're in thread two and haven't really given any real information. Very Ralphish.

Hell, as it stands, judging by your "index" thread, if you start a new one for each "chapter", that's going to be 20 to 30 threads total when it's all said and done.

Don't clutter the boards pandering for site views and thanks as an OP. Again, thanks for sharing, as you surely have a good knowledge of SEO, but 8/10 contribution, 2/10 execution.

Thanks for your opinions guys :)

    It's well appreciated.

Now, I plan on doing other 5 threads regarding these chapters:

    Chapter 2: Onpage SEO
Chapter 3: Offpage SEO, where all the magic happens!
Chapter 4: Advanced SEO techniques! (The secret techinique bhw barely talks about it)
Chapter 5: BONUS! Analysing 2 sites that ranked at the top for over a year!
Chapter 6: How to actually profit from this GUIDE! (Selling sites, start an agency and whatnot!)

The only problem I see of creating one whole thread with the next chapters is that topics would get mixed and I believe it woould be counterproductive as per discussion. I mean if i post everything in 1 thread, there would be questions about eveyrthing and finding/answering questinos would get a little bit messy imho.

I'd like to know what you guys think and in 24-48 hours I will post next chapter as we discuss.
