Change my current keyword?

Hello everyone

Im running this hair blog site, and using the keyword "Hairfall treatments". But i cant find any info on this keyword if its high competition or low etc.
Im in top 10 for the keyword on google, but its a fairly new site, and less than 100 backlinks. It just seems that this keyword dont yield to much traffic, 25-50 unique a day.

Since i have so few backlinks, and its a rather new site, would it be stupid to try and promote for a new keyword phrase instead of the one i got already to attract some more traffic?

No, sites can rank for multiple keywords. If its in the same niche i.e to do with hair, then go for it.
 
Ok Great, but im using Wordpress, so changing my Keywords and that in there, wont that lose the original keyword?

Don't change your keyword, add new keywords... I have one site that is ranked on pg 1 of google for some 40 different keywords... all related of course.
 
yes but is "hair fall treatments" the same as "hairfall treatments"?

I cant get the google tool to show me the right one, it keeps showing the "hair fall treatments" which aint my keyword, but "hairfall treatments" is.

When i search in google, my website home page come up at top3, but when i use a tool to check it says top30. So im a bit confused.
 
If you have ranking for a keyword, don't remove it! Like others have said, add keywords to your site. If your page is full on keywords and it would make it look more spammy to add, make a new page to focus the new keywords.

See, in this way, you can target an unlimited amount of keywords on a site, and have them do well, as long as they're all related to the same neighborhood of keywords
 
Btw, just added an affiliate banner for related product, had a 50% revenue sale after 5 minutes :D Sweet.. Starting to love this **** hehe
 
google does not like this keyword: "Hairfall treatments" just keeps pushing hair loss. Have you put some back links onto your article to see if you can get Google to accept it. It looks like a keyword used by someone who speaks English as a second language.

This is an interesting use of keywords - targeting keywords (expressions) used by immigrants

I have to stop drinking during the day ; )
 
Ah thats why i had a hard time finding results for it then. Will try something else then hehe
