You should consider about the risk that you will lose your existing subscribers who may prefer your previous content. Therefore, I would advise you to begin with a new name and build your audience from the ground up.

I think having 1000 subscribers is great, and making new channels just slows you down, so don't make new channels; instead, change your channel name and just drop an announcement on your channel like, "Hey guys, from now on we are doing X stuff, and it will be more entertaining and fun to watch, etc.

Always better to create a new channel. I know it sucks losing all of your subscribers + view count but it's the best way to do so.
Is there another thing you can do with that old channel?

it'se very tricky,' couse in the last year 've had some copyright strike,'couse i'd upload small part of series..so sad.
