[challenge] How long to $50 a day from Adsense?

I'm really excited about this. I have been meaning to do something similar to what you are dong, however I am still new and learning. I've been reading through this forum here and there, well more over the past few weeks. So, this really gives me incentive to step it up.

have to agree with Chrisss I would focus on some long tail keywords at week 2/3 a bit for some extra early traffic. Some easy traffic to be earned :)

Quick update.

Website is ready. Now I am working on adding content to it.
I was a very busy in last days working 16 hours a day, but now I am back, and I will update more. I have my assistant to work on this site, so I don't need to kill myself over it.

I will add in next 2 days a lot of custom made news and articles. I will add some copy content too, but I will try to rewrite as much as I can.

Apparently Google manage somehow to index my website already, which is bad, as I was trying to create content before that happens. It managed to index only 5 pages out of 20-30 that are already there, so thats not so bad.

Apparently Alexa indexed me too, and I have no idea why, as I didn't build a single backlink...

Anyhow. I am creating content now, and as we are ahead of plan, I will try to start backlinking maybe around Weekend :)

I did not put any adsense yet, as I want first rank bit higher. Just quality content - no ads :)

This is a thread I will be watching.

I have never ventured into Adsense either, but isn't this just an exercise in SEO?
And seeing that your an SEO Mastermind then this shouldn't be a problem!

I definitely believe it can be done, it will be nice to see a "from scratch" success story. :)

This will help many people, and help me also starting making money with adsense finally ;)

Keyword is somehow difficult, and there is competition, and I am starting with brand new website - yes, this will be a real challenge :)

how many pages on content are you planning to add total?

Around 150 in total before I will start backlinking. I am using CMS so adding content (mostly copy one, with unique headers and add ons) is pretty easy. I will let you guys know how much pages I have as soon as I will start backlinking :)

-backlink url
