Cease and Desist Question

Hey everyone looking for some advice. Back early this year i had a social media site to sell followers didnt make to many sells as it was but in April i received a C&D letter. Many people from what i read have said to just ignore the emails and they will stop, well i was doing that they sent about several emails from April to now August and now in my email I just receive a shipping notice that the company thats been emailing me has shipped me something to my house I'm sure a letter or something. Im not sure how to go about this, does anyone have some good advice. I appreciate your time thanks!

The purpose of the letter is just to get you to stop doing it.

It will cost them money to chase you. It depends on how serious the offence is. They will pursue

Yea I stopped it the day they sent me the email. The mail just arrived today didnt need to sign for it or anything was just left at my door should i maybe return to sender?

Open the letter and deal with the issue so it does not grow. Good chance they want you to put in writing that you are going to not do that again or some such thing.

UPS and Fedex did the same to me back in the day as did the company who makes a certain water vessel.

The not knowing is usually a bigger bite than the actual knowing so just take care of it and it will probably go away.
