Happy as a pig in shit
nice fish man, was it a catch and release, i cant wait to get my boat out and do a little lake trout fishing
Yeah, i only do catch and release. im not a fan of fishing for food...
OMG, no comments :chef2:
That doesn't look like a catfish? Where are you from? No whiskers on that sucker at all? I love fresh water fishing. Pond right down the street that I catch bass in all the time. Loads of fun.
woow, great fish man , congrats
im a fisherman myself , however i haven't been able to catch such a big fish yet.
Congratulations! It's really an achievement to catch such big fish! How long did the fight last?
The biggest fish I have ever caught is a 3kg pike.
By the way, what country is that?
The fight lasted best part of 30 minutes. Im in thailand, there are huge fish out here. im going again next week to a lake full of arapaima
Oh ye. Nice one. Im not that much into fishing but my m8 talked me into buying a flyfishing set for pike. So i hope catch some fuckers this summer.
The thailand and that area are great for fishing i seen some documents. When i get there i will definitely want to fish there since in here you can't catch that big ones. Well maybe maximum fishes are some 40lbs salmon.
That fish is pangasius pangasius, a type of shark catfish. It is also a common aquarium fish but can grow huge in natural habitat. It is also commonly called as yellow tail catfish. Common in asia.
When I was a child my father caught a 98 pound yellow op catfish in lake Houston. I the biggest fresh water fish I ever saw.
Quite an accomplishment, good for you, although in my case it WOULD end up in a frying pan with some hush puppies!
+rep for bob :d
Well done OP
But I prefer to fish at night. That's when I get the bitches
Wagwa, ya diggin me shorts maan...
That's almost a different species than here in the states. Yellow fins? Good thing it's catch and release. Cleaning that thing is like doing an autospy! Happy trails.
Great fish man!!!
I'm a big fan of fishing aswell.
Holy hell, only in asia are the catfish that big! We have catfish here but the biggest are like 20lbs or something.
Bluecat I presume... Congrats bro. What did you get him on, and where? Why don't you post a pic?
I've never seen a fish that big let alone caught one. I'm probably one of the least successful fishermen around. I have plenty of luck trout fishing on a fly, but for any other fishing I pretty much suck.
In three years of sea fishing I've only ever caught one mackerel. And I hooked that fucker through his back. He was probably only swimming past. Which is a shame as I only live a 5 minute walk from the sea, but it gets me away from the computer now and again.
Haha Love your pants!
Err.. Nice fish btw
