The reason it looks like BHW has an effect is because people post coins that have already started rising. They were rising before the thread, and they will rise after.

Exactly, people hear lots of chatter about a coin on Slack/ Reddit / Bitcointalk and then come and post about it here and not the other way around.

They're one of the wealthiest areas of Spain with high employment, thus prop up some of the poorer sectors in Spain so the Madrid government will never let them split.

Exactly, and thats the sad part. They are being held hostage basically because their economy is probably one of the best in Spain.
