It's cute of you to think that BHW had any effect on it. It was already a massive coin with more people in the Slack than have ever participated in BHW's crypto section.

The reason it looks like BHW has an effect is because people post coins that have already started rising. They were rising before the thread, and they will rise after.

Exactly, people hear lots of chatter about a coin on Slack/ Reddit / Bitcointalk and then come and post about it here and not the other way around.

I don't think that matters. Maybe that would even make it more effective. If Catalonia can show that they are not financially dependant on Spain that will help them. Anyway, try not to talk politics here, the thread will get removed.

Exactly, and thats the sad part. They are being held hostage basically because their economy is probably one of the best in Spain.
