Case study . THE BUM . Make money with no money.

Haha! Good Idea this reminded me of an idea I implemented back in University and can still be done if anyone whats to try it. As my University was in a City there was no shortage of tramps.

What I did was set up an website and was an affiliate of some niche products called BUMFIGHTS which was very big and controversial a few years back, but also very popular. Being an affiliate of these also included other fighting videos.

For those that don't know 'BUMFIGHTS' is a video series based on tramps fighting and doing jackass type stunts - watch it, its so funny.

So I became an affiliate then recruited some tramps. I made them wear a cardboard billboard with signs on - these signs would be along the lines of:

- See me lay the smackdown on sum other bum at WEBSITE.COM
- Its WWE but with TRAMPS! Yes me! Come watch at WEBSITE.COM
- I don't BEG! I BEAT & BASH. See at WEBSITE.COM

You get the idea!!! Then I would ask them to walk about town etc. I would buy them some drink and food. I wont never give them money as they spend in on Alcohol and drugs.

This earned me and a friend (JV) some decent money.

P.S - For those that don't approve and start backlashing for exploiting BUMS - the president of U.S.A Homeless society approved the BUMFIGHTS video etc - just search Google for it.

The exploitation of bums how interesting . Well after meeting with him today to check his work . I have discovered he is not a dumb person at all . I kinda had bums stereotyped *shame on me*.

Well he did manage to make +40.00 yesterday from what we set up . He worked on it some more today for 3 hours he did nothing but set up craigslist ads . He is already thinking up his own ideas . I am actualy utterly amazed.

Now all this was done from 0 cash . Coarse he does not have 40.00 setting in a bank account or PP account even right now it is in his affiliate account . But still he will end up getting a nice check from his affiliate company .

I am utterly amazed . This is starting to teach me some things as well . Seeing things threw a fresh set of eyes kinda opens your eyes .

What did you use for a home address? (serious question)
 
^^ Rofls. I think he said that he had him signed up for a P.O box. That question was gold though.

He actually used his mothers address .

I am not sure I know exactly why he does not live with his mother though . I do not wish to know his whole life story .

He also has a P.O. box as well .

It's all academics from here. You proved that you can make $40 from day one online with nothing. That's really really amazing considering that people on BHW makes less and took longer to figure out how to make money. Now the new argument will be that, "of course the bum made money he had someone to teach him". I am not saying that to down what you done, but, to remind us (including myself) that newbies just want to learn step by step with live interaction. Someone should volunteer their time to help a number of newbies(say 20) through IM with the stipulation that newbies have to do the same thing once they learn. Imagine how powerful this community would be if that happended! Just a thought:)
 
i agree, as a newbie i have been trying some methods for serveval weeks and didnt get anything done really well yet, would just need some teacher or something to start off, like you did with that guy. that was pretty awesome btw !
 
Farfetched soetimes i do not know about you . You gave me an awsome idea .

I think I am going to make a hand holding site . But instead of the usualy membership fees this will be a little diffrrent . this site will be profitable for everyone . But yes there will be a charge but not to me .

All newbies in this game will love this . Ok I am going to set it up .
 
Up to the mentor . If you post a project for say 50.00 budget for one month and 50.00 is bid on by a mentor than I recon that it would be 50.00 .

This is an open market type of platform .

Great for hand holding and one on one and everything .
 
Way to go your awesome for doing this. Back in the day I used to pick up some of the better put together people with will work for food signs and have them ewhore and post on craigslist all day and feed them and pay them a daily wage. Your method is so much better
 
I also notion that someone should help out a few noobs by guiding and teaching them. When I joined this site, my brain almost exploded. It was like being given a library then someone saying "Ok you will have a test on x, x, and x on Friday. Good luck." Having someone to show you and teach you is must. That's why schools were invented ;)

It is almost set up just need to wait till my host gets back from vacationn now .

So I found him and proceeded to talk with the Bum asking him some questions . Believe it or not he was really articulate. I asked him if he would like to earn some money he said he would . I then took him to the library and showed him a technique I use to generate about 50.00 with about 1 or 2 hours work when I work it . The library allows people to have internet access for 3 hours so this is perfect for him .

Tomorrow we agreed to meet up I helped him do alot of stuff open a checking account start teh prcess of getting a paypal account etc etc etc . So we will see how it works . So if this does work out guess a bum can do soething an established member here can not :0

I meet with him tomorrow to check on his process to see where he is at and what he is doing . If he does not show up it is not like he is hard to find . I have seen him everyday for the past week .

That's awesome I have been thinking of similar ideas lately it's nice to know other people are still out there that really do want to help other people. This post really made my day today lol. :)
