Age: 1 year 9 months
History: I've been creating links for this domain for a long time now. Not so long ago I put too many keywords into the content and it sank, since removing them it has risen again, but never quite returned to where it once was. I haven't created backlinks for some time now. The website makes no money, it just hasn't worked out for me. Which makes it a good candidate for the test.

Some information about excessive linking:
It is my belief that excessive backlinking will stop a website from reaching the top of the search engines, however there are very different opinions on the forum.
I'm going to offer up one of my websites as a test case so we can see the effects and finally put it to bed.
First of all, I want to explain that in Google's own patent it states:
"In the present invention, it is possible, therefore, for a document with only one backlink (from a very highly ranked page) to have a higher rank than another document with many backlinks (from very low ranked pages). This is not the case with simple citation ranking." - This means that the number of backlinks is definitely NOT the definitive source when Google calculates rankings for sites.
I don't have the patent anymore, but there is also a part in Google's patent which explains that Google plots a "link graph" using the anchor text of backlinks over time.
It says that a spammer will show a spiky graph with overly coherent or overly diverse anchor text.
A natural website will show anchor text that varies but which is related tot he topic and a more stable graph.
The bit which I found really interesting is that when the Google algo detects a website that is being spammed for backlinks it will SCALE DOWN the scoring of the website accordingly. What this means is that you will need more links to move the site in comparison to a non-spam site.
So what is the plan?
The plan is to create thousands of links regularly. As much as some of the very large blasts you can get on blackhat world. We need to link excessively but not any more than anyone from BHW might do. So there's not point making 8 million a day. We need to keep it realistic and based on what the average excessive linker on BHW does.
I will need help from you guys. I will pay for link blasts when I can afford it, but it would be more manageable if supporters of this thread coudl use whatever tools you have at your disposal to execute "runs" of their software on our target site using our target keyword.
I will update the thread whenever I use software of buy blasts from a service.
The great thing about this site is that it is an aged domain and it is not spam.

The rankings for the site are by no means bad. I did the rankings using google.com/ncr (no location). So they are slightly less than in the UK.
I will try to update the ranking report each week.
