Why are you hiding you IP? Its not as if google can see the IP you posted with. They are only seeing the IP of the web host

Can I just use Tor browser for hiding my IP?
You hide the IP from tumblr. Once you have bad IP, they ban all accounts and sites

What content do you place on your 2.0's? Do they essentially become a neighboring niche or a rewrite or the main site?

I'm mainly doing brand anchors, and generic and a few exact match.
For the volume of web 2.0s I've built for this page and others, it would end up resulting in an IP blacklist.
Bingo!
I write fresh, relatable content for the web 2.0s to ensure that the text doesn't come across as duplicate content.
I'd be wary of using IFTTT for tier 1, unless of course it's a parasite. You don't want to get slapped with duplicate content.

Attached is the ranking stats. This in my opinion is pretty decent for 10 fresh web 2.0s i.e. non aged. The only thing it cost me was time, no money at all. I don't class the VPN that I use as an expenditure since I used that for other things as well.
I haven't built any tiers for it yet. I may not. I don't want it to be hit with spam. The purpose of this was really to see if you could raise the rankings of a page with unique content and not having to spend a dime. Of course, I'm not going to stop at this, I'll be creating more and more until I've hit page 1 for all of the terms. As it happens, fresh content on virgin web 2.0s can bump up the ranking of a page. Of course, you need to have the quality content behind it. I still firmly believe that spun material is poor for tier 1. Also, I've got no doubt that aged web 2.0s would have worked better. However, if you can get these results with domains that are new and don't have links pointing to them, imagine the potential rankings you could get from tiering the domains and then using older ones.
I can totally appreciate that people may not have the time to create all of these web 2.0s. However, if you are on a tight budget, then this can help. Bear in mind as well that this is a slow burner. You need to let the fresh properties bed in for a while before adding your link to it. When you're creating the filler content for them, and waiting for them to age a bit, this is where you can create the killer piece that feeds back to your site.
The filler content on the web 2.0 should still be of good quality and not spun, but it doesn't need to be as high quality as the main article. Given that the Google algo is moving more towards relevance each day, having the money site article on the web 2.0 as the best one on the property just makes good sense.

Theoretically, yes. However, there are numerous factors involved, including the keyword difficulty (and by association the backlink profile of the other sites you're competing against). The quality of the web 2.0s is also a factor, as well as the anchor text you used. Moreover, the actual quality of the money site page and it's relevance to they keyword you're targeting is a factor.
The speed of your site and the on page optimisation of it is also a factor. You could have the best links in the world, but if the money site is so so then it's still not going to be able to use the links pointing to it to its full potential.
Following on from the last post, I've decided to try this setup on another page. First of all, here are the current rankings for the original page:
There has been a slight dip for all of the keywords, although they are now bouncing back.
Now onto the current rankings of the other page:
This page has not had any links pointed to it (apart from it being a normal part of the site which has been siloed).
The KW difficulty of the main keyword is 20 and it is receiving on average 1,900 searches per month.
I'll be following the same process as before with creating fully fleshed out web 2.0 properties. However, this time I will also be tiering the web 2.0s.
Given that the KW difficulty of this is much less than the previous page that has jumped up in the rankings, I've got no doubt that manual, high quality tiered link building will be enough to push all of the keywords onto page 1.
The aim is to go for another 10 web 2.0s. However, I will not be tiering all 10 of these. If there was ever an audit then this could look pretty unnatural. I will more than likely be tiering the Reddit post at least. However, this could take the longest to get up and running since I need to create a new subreddit for this, so that's going to take at least a month. I could buy an aged account from elsewhere, but I want to carry on with the mantra that you can do this for next to as free as possible if you are reading this today and you don't have any start up cash.
There is the argument that the VPN that I'm using isn't free. However, as mentioned elsewhere on this thread, I use the VPN for a variety of things, and not just accounts on these platforms so I don't class this as a major spend. Likewise, a really good VPN can be cheaper than a package that you may buy on here, and you can use it for various things. This isn't me knocking on the sellers here btw, but if you can buy one tool to make these accounts yourself for $x rather then spending $x on a one time package, and that's your only income it really isn't a great move. Especially since with the VPN you can make unlimited accounts.

Far from it. They still work well in pushing up a sites ranking. Even if it was a small bump, it could mean that you would need to spend less money on other link types.

@Ozzyzig You are experienced in parasites maybe you will help me. I ranked a few parasites to top ~3 but there is one problem. One day they are in top3, one day later they are nowhere, sometimes a week in top3 then 3 days nowhere. They are 3 months old. They ranked in ~1-2 weeks and situation is the same since beginning. Content on these parasites is clearly spun, a lot of keyword stuffing. Any tips how to stop that? I think it might be content and keyword stuffing but on the other hand I think this is why they rank that good.

I'm trying to keep this is 'clean' as possible. That and trying to do it so anyone can do this without having to spend money. I might use 301s in the future and hit them with GSA.
I'm 100% positive it's the spun content and keyword stuffing.
The problem with keyword stuffing is that it can actually reduce relevancy since it's normally gibberish that is used to shoehorn these phrases into the text.

I am in a similar situation. I am building Super Web 2.0s and need to keep things clean because I'm using them on a whitehat project. But what other types of links should we use on them? Just some high DA profiles and some real, manual blog comments?
So far, I was able to index them with just some quora links + twitter and pinterest account. They index naturally after 3 weeks. But what other links should I build to them at this point?

I would make secondary web 2.0s and point these to the main ones and see how that fares.
Nup, which I found quite odd. However, it does appear in ahrefs. Having said that, there's another site out there that I've used before that doesn't appear in search console, but it will show up in ahrefs. Why this happens though is anyones guess.
