Update 6:

I've been multi-tasking too many other projects to focus on this one for the past week.... I broke the single most important rule in IM

"Focus on One Course Until Success"

With that being said, I'm going to focus on other projects for the next week and then next week, resume 100% on this case study and report back daily.

Rankings on youtube are increasing, however I chose a more saturated niche than I had originally expected. I half-assed my keyword research for the 2 keywords I originally targeted. Silly me.

Will be report back soon when my plate has been cleared so I can show you step by step how to dominate with youtube.

The fact that you admitted to your mistakes up front is help in intself. We all do it. Too many projects at once means none of them get done. I fight it all the time too. Looking forward to your next update. One question for you - do you care about rankings in YouTube or just G?

Can you provide any details about your backlink strategy if you have one? I've been hearing +/- about GSA, both blasting and tiering.

Amen. The problem for most (including myself) is that going full whitehat and building a brand takes a lot of time. This is the direction I have been going in with my main YT account for the past year or so. It is tough to "kill it" because you need to produce quality videos to keep your brand respectable. I guess you just need to keep grinding and perfecting your process so you can figure out how to put out enough volume to make some real money. I am still working on that.

However, I am already starting to see the benefits of building a strong YT account. My account is a little over a year old and I have kept everything 100% natural. I continue to see better and better rankings for new videos that I upload as the account grows stronger.

Nonetheless, I hope OP proves us wrong and kicks some butt in this journey.

missed your updates, how is your journey going? youtube was super weird last week as it deleted almost all first page videos from my niche one big company copyright claim and then suddenly it restored almost all videos including two of mine and 4 other videos which were deleted few weeks back, miracle

what if i put same video just different keywords on 20-30 video sharing sites , that links to my url will that help

To tell you honestly, I've been ranking on YT and on Google using the old fashion way. When my video get ranked on #1 spot of Google it will stay there for about 1 week but after that it will be gone, this is not a Google Dance, it's a Google Hit! Where my video is nowhere to find on big G but on YT it is on the first page.

IMO we can still rank videos on Google, but not for long, so better upload huge amount of video, rank it the old fashion way, bank from it for a week, then when it gets hit, rinse and repeat the process.

I know it's Old thread and I read it all . As what BreaknBrix said ranking YT videos on G being harder then before .
anyway in past two years I was only focusing on sites SEO , but recent G updates make it sucks job , My old niche now filled with thousands of spammers who's learned SEO lately .
On other hand YT still have lower competitions comparing to sites SERPs .
Thats why I moved on to YT IMO . It's harder and needs alot of patents and their alot alot of empty spots for New competitors and spammers noobs have no time to work on it .. Just Open your eyes guys and focus on filled half of the glass .
I'll tell you my three days experience . As on SEO you should focus on video quality make it very attractive to viewers ,
Title and very unique and detailed descriptions . + tags add any thing 10~90% relative to your videos . yes you can add tags not directly related to your video People will click on it when watching very popular Video . this will increase your video viewing daily .
Best way to buy YT view is Via FB popular pages ask related pages to your videos to post your video on their pages .
you will got alot of viewers in few minutes . Same thing with TW .
after that post your videos on Very populars web forums . Yeh don't afraid your post been delete by Mods or get banned . this is not Link spamming or Amz product promotions . Your are sharing YT videos all people knows youtube and visit it .
Add title e.g "How to Recover your dead Galaxy-6 new way " Or "Top Reaches men on the earth " ..etc
the video should be informative and professional . no one will delete you thread . so you will gain both HR views and backlinks .
for long terms as BreaknBrix said try to create branding sign FB page and popular TW account .so repeated steps get easier.
I know this all hard work but life isn't easy .
