    Hello Guys.
I have been tracking my visitors with piwik for the last 20 days to see which search engine has the best conversion rate and here are the results:

The keywords that i am targeting are in top 3 bing & yah00 and in top 10 of g00le.
P.S these keywords are commercial keywords.
P.S.S the 5$ Conversion goal is not true,is just to track the visitors and the conversions
Take care and don't forget to optimize your site for bing (bing and yah00 are 1 now so is more easier)

it depends on keywords and industry. imo, people who use yahoo/bing are less web savvy and tend to fall for dumb shit.

it should also depend on product...why not give an idea of the niche at least
I believe different niches might perform differently on the different networks...

In PPC it usually works out like this.

Google will give you the volume but high CPL
Yahoo & Bing will be lower volume and lower CPL

For Quality of lead they normally rank in this order.

    1. Yahoo
    2. Google
    3. Bing

    I don't understand Microsoft
You can only have ads in UK, USA, Canada, Singapore & India. What about the rest of the world?

Microsoft has reported a loss for it's web division for the past 22 financial quarters (over 700 million lost in the past 3 month)!!!

It is pretty simple, open up your advertising network to the rest of the world and you might actually turn a profit. It's so ridiculous and just so typical of Microsoft. I'm so keen to advertise on their networks, but I can't. I want to give them money but they won't let me

Bunch of clowns running that company

thinking wow well done bing and hearing google chuckling in the background.

That is exactly what I have said to them, one of my clients spends up to 100k per month on PPC.

For some reason Bing just seems to have virtually no volume of traffic in sectors that should have an endless source of it. Such as finance.

I struggle to spend £400 per day on Bing even though Adwords pushes 10x that with ease.

No i haven't try cpc because cost per click is 5 times higher from the amount that i get paid per conversion.

I must disagree. I'm also in Finance Niche..Google converts much better. PPC or Organic. Bing and Yahoo are nowwhere close...I'm talking years and years of expertise lol.

Yeah its strange, I love the higher conversions and lower cost from Bing but the volume is ridiculously low. When its works it works great but mostly there is not enough traffic.

My niches are B2B, finance, marketing etc. I am happy if I get 20-40 (very high conversions) visits a day. Been on the phone with Bing guys for hours, basically telling them same thing - Look I want to give you Money - please give me traffic.

Bing does however, pay extra emphasis on relevancy and takes into account all campaigns. I had a B2B campaign drop from 40 visits to 0 because a completely non related campaign had exit pop up. Been trying to solve the shit for 2 weeks now. Going from department to department.

Their automatic relevancy tool sucks, too. I had a SEO landing page selling backlinks, whole page was about buying backlinks, great density, semantics, content, titles, descriptions etc - but they put Quality Score 1/10 due to "non-relevancy" on keyword "buy backlinks" - WTF? You can get it solved usually if you get a human involved but its a freaking drag.
This kind of shit ( and the 15year olds with coupons) are why I left Adwords. I used to spend about $4-7K / month on adwords and would love to move it to Bing but unless - due to some luck the ads end up on first page story article - it does not seem likely I can spend that much on Bing.
