Any organic traffic yet?
I had some family come visit this weekend so I haven't had a chance to post until now. No real updates yet, still waiting for this last batch of EzineArticles to be approved.
Not yet, I'm on page 18
I don't rely only on article directory backlinks. Where did I say that I did?
My SEO guy does most of the work for me, and has for the last few years. I don't want to say too much about what he does because I'm sure if I drop some hints, the buy/sell forum will explode with people trying to copy it and claiming it's the latest and best thing or whatever, claiming they've been doing it for years, and all that other jazz that the online SEO world loves to do. Except they will serve up poor quality bullshit that has been outsourced to the cheapest person on whatever other forum, and the end result will be crap. His prices are high enough that if I shared them, most people would go "lol, you can get that done for way less on (insert SEO forum/outsourcing forum/etc)" and then they would go "lololololol u r paying too much lolol!" while themselves wondering why the $5 stuff they bought on fiverr isn't ranking them for "get a huge cock" or whatever the keyword of the week is, and while they themselves go from forum to forum giving advice as if they actually know what the fuck they are talking about :lmao: It's hilarious and sad. In the past I have dropped a little SEO knowledge in threads before and I start getting PMs asking me questions... from the same people that are selling services and claiming to be "SEO experts". Shouldn't you know the answers to the super basic questions you are asking me? Oh wait, I forgot, you're just a worthless middleman. SEO EXPERT :lmao:
I have strong thoughts about the SEO industry if you haven't noticed
Basically, I get backlinks from relevant sites. And it's all white hat. That's my SEO strategy.

How long are you giving this, (what have you budgeted to invest into this project - roughly)?

I'm pretty sure most people know how to put up a wp blog, write articles, submit to Ezine and watch analytics. I don't see anything shared here that isn't pre-school information.

How long? I usually like to see my sites become profitable and pay for themselves within a year. I'm kind of figuring out the budget as I go, but it will likely be a few hundred total.
Top 5 would be cool. $50 per day? Ha. There are 14,000 exact searches per month. If I was #1, let's assume I would get 80% of those visitors, so that's 11,200, or 373 per day.
Now, let's assume a 2% CTR. I know everyone on the forums likes to talk about how they get 10% CTR and how huge their cocks are and how the bang supermodels every day, but in my experience, a 1-3% CTR is average over time, so let's assume 2%.
Now, the average CPC is $2.21, and the publisher gets 68% of that, so that's an average of $1.50 per click. AVERAGE. Some will be more, some will be less.
373 visitors per day * 2% CTR = 7 clicks per day.
7 clicks per day * $1.50 per click = $10.50 per day.
At best.
I would be content with $3-5 per day from this site.

- There are now a total of 3 approved articles and 4 more articles waiting to be approved
- Organically ranking on page 19. Was 18 yesterday. I'm sure this is temporary. I'm not worried. It would be silly to expect a good ranking after only like two weeks anyway.

Hmmm.. Good luck brah. Take a 2nd look at your model.
I am quite confident it is possible to build a adsense site for less than $500 and have it earn $10+ per day in 1 month max 2 months. 1 year is way tooo long IMO.
I said it would make about $10/day at most.
Using high quality stuff that will still be holding rank years from now? I'd be curious to read your journal
The only way I've heard of people doing it cheaper is by using XRumer or spam type stuff that works until Google devalues it.
