SERVICES
Eternal1912 (content): Article was completed on time. Ended up being around 1,100 words vs 1,000. I?m very impressed with the article quality, especially for the price range. 9/10, highly recommend.
PassionateWriting (content): Articles currently in progress. PW stated that articles will be sent as completed vs all in one batch. Just a reminder, it is six 500-word articles on both my sub-niche and the overarching major niche.
aluminium (content): Article completed on time as well. Extremely high quality, would recommend as well. 10/10.
d3t0x (PBN): Work in progress on the PBN review. Will update when an update is available.

HANDS-ON
When I Googled my site for indexing purposes, I noticed that a date was included for some reason in the meta description. This was cutting off the last few characters of the description I had set using Yoast. I went in and edited it back a few characters to ensure that all of the description could be seen when searched.
Looking through Eternal1912?s article, I noticed that the article he sent me could be perfectly split into two articles: a pros and cons list of my sub-niche compared to others, and a how-to piece. I split the articles, formatted them properly, set up headings, categories, tags, and meta information, and added images to each one. I did the same formatting process to the article from aluminium.
After posting, I checked the home page and noted that the formatting of the recent posts widget was doing wonderfully. The two most recent posts had large images side by side with a quick look at the first 15-20 words. The three other less recent posts had small images with the titles and date beside them. I also added the top bar menu, which consisted of links to the two product review articles.
At this point, I wanted to get a base social setup going. I created a Facebook page. The Facebook URL for my exact match name was taken, so I chose Facebook.com/[NAME]net as my domain was a .net. I added one of the blog images as my profile image (the logo looked bad in square form, will fix later) and since my niche is beauty, I set the preferred page audience to women ages 18 to 50 interested in shopping and fashion.
Then I added a link to the post I had edited on the website as a status update. I also added a cover photo and a mission. I also set the home page of the web site as a Contact Us call to action. Then I started a Twitter. I was stuck with [NAME]1. Not impressed, but whatever. I set the Twitter up with the same profile image, cover photo, URL, and quick bio, and the same link from the Facebook feed as a Tweet.
PLANS
Before I continue any more social media work, I am going to do a full re-write on all current content, as well as site tweaks and work on all pages to get them in tip-top shape. The six posts from PW should be done next week at some point.
