The guys at Niche Website Builders recently uploaded a video showcasing the results of a case study that involved the evaluation of over 5,000+ content websites.
Here´s the full video...
...in the video, they showcase some stats that kind of opened my eyes to some very important stuff about blogging.
For example...
So, in the first table, they claim websites getting around 10k to 25k monthly visitors (according to Ahrefs), and assuming an EMP of $25 they are making around $300ish per month with an average of 289 pages. So, websites making around $2.7k per month have, on average, 600+ pages.
I know these are average, and there are a lot of assumptions (like the accuracy of Ahrefs data, SEO, EMP, among other things), but I believe it denotes a more important issue that, nowadays, to make $2,000+ a month on average, you will need 500+ articles published?
I know the competition has gotten harder, and I don´t have a study on my own to make any claims, but I feel this is a bit too far-fetched to me.
Thoughts?
