Hey BHW Community,

I wanted to share a case study from a small project I’ve been working on: automating Facebook posting for small businesses. The goal was to save time while keeping consistent engagement without manually posting every day.

Here’s what worked best from my testing:

1️⃣ Set up an entire week’s posts in advance
2️⃣ Use AI to generate captions and hooks (you can experiment with different tools)
3️⃣ Preview posts before publishing to maintain your brand’s tone
4️⃣ Track engagement and refine content over time

Result: Saved several hours weekly and maintained steady audience engagement. Some posts performed better than expected, while others flopped—but overall, consistency and testing were the key.

I’m curious—how are you automating social media for your clients or business? Any favorite tools, strategies, or tips that have worked for you?

Great case study, thanks for sharing your experience with automating Facebook posting. I've also been experimenting with AI-generated captions and hooks, and I'm interested in hearing more about the specific tools you used for this purpose. Did you find that any particular AI tool performed better than others in terms of engagement and consistency? I've been using Hootsuite for scheduling posts, but I'm always looking for new strategies to improve results. What kind of content were you posting, and did you notice any differences in engagement based on the type of post, such as video vs. image?

Thanks man, appreciate it.
Yeah I’ve tested a few AI writing tools for captions, but honestly I don’t think the tool itself made the biggest difference. What mattered more was how I guided it. If I gave it clear context about the audience and goal of the post, the output was much better.
For engagement, short videos worked better than images for me. Even simple talking videos or quick tips did well. Static images still worked sometimes, especially educational or carousel-style posts, but video was more consistent overall.
I also noticed that posting consistently and testing different formats weekly helped more than switching tools all the time.
Are you mainly running client accounts or your own pages? That changes the approach a lot.
