[Case Study] Adult Traffic + List Building

Hey guys. I had a little spare time on my hands and decided to try some adult traffic [free] and building a list. I'm not giving away any methods here, but I will give tips on what is working for me to get my list built.

I decided to try this because I already do list building and paid ads but just wanted to check out a good landing page and drive some free traffic to it. If all goes well, I might get into paid adult traffic.

Here's my opt in rate for today. 71 Subsribers Total so far

I'm doing PPS so hopefully the free signups will convert to paid. My traffic volume is very low but very targeted. I need to create two more landing pages and slit test them all which I might do tomorrow.

I'm also throwing these guys into a autoresponder for 2 days [Every other day] to increase signups.

As of right now i'm not using any exit popups on my landing page. I might put a popup on my thank you page to incease my conversions to the offer.

I will update this throughout the week until I'm finished testing. I'm only testing this for 7 days.

Thought you guys would be interested in the results of building a adult list.

What mailing solution are you using that allows adult?

I'm using Getresponse. I created a 30 day free trial. If you test always create a another account.

Here's my results for the end of the day yesterday. No sales yet.

Seems to be an approach from a different angle.

I'm still waiting to see how my second email will perform in my autoresponder. I've gotten a few signup through the first email I deliver as soon as they opt in.

I may need to change my offer too, but I can always test that with my list. I almost have 100 subscribers right now.

If you dont get a sale within 250 conversions, you're doing something wrong in your funnel/angle/traffic target (less likely this last one).

Just my 2 cents.

I'd have to suggest using a list building provider which allows adult so all your effort doesn't go to waste.

In due respect, this is long term so if you have been following this make sure you mix in loopholes or other tactics to play it safe to hold the value in this ... Don't get overrun by bans this late in the adult game as email lists seem to be permanent once you get the hang of things.

That's the part where you have to be unique and come up with a strategy on how you can get their email address.

Here's my results for today. More traffic gave me more opt-ins. No Sales yet. CTA is down because I tried different traffic.



I'll post here if I make any sales. I still have my second email going out.

BTW, what autoresponder service are you using? Do you thing they are safe with adult niche?

So what free source of adult traffic are you using?

My traffic was mainly from sites like Omegle and chat rooms... Pretty easy... I didn't make 1 single sale but I did get 230 subs. Not bad for 3 days.

I noticed some great methods on generating free traffic for adult sites and building a list are:

Adult Forums - You basically sign up for various adult forums sites and jump into the conversations. These sites are pretty generous because they allow you to share your adult links inside a signature which will go below every post that you make. You also will be able to share you link inside your profile. Anytime someone clicks on your profile, they will see a link to your promotion along with a little about you. These forums are good to because they give you an opportunity to learn from other affiliates and buyers. Believe it or not these adult forums have better discussions in sports, politics, etc. than some forums dedicated to those topics.

Picture Sites - These websites for adult webmasters allow users to upload pics in exchange for free traffic to there site. Basically you upload a picture of an adult model that you have permission to share and if a user clicks on the image it will lead to your website.

Video Sites - Many sites on the internet, including some of the most popular, allow you to upload videos. Many times they allow a watermark which advertises your website inside the video. If they do not allow watermarks then you can still have a link going to your site inside your profile. If you upload good videos, naturally your friends and fans will gravitate to your profile to find out more of your material.

Of course your social sites like Tumblr, Facebook, and Twitter are good to. They can sometimes take forever utilizing free methods. I have not personally used Tumblr but I hear it is very adult friendly and many have utilized it to make money and build there list. I hear they are cracking down on porn for Twitter too.

They also have adult social sites that are similar to the popular ones except they are dedicated strictly to porn sites.

I didn't use any of that... Mine was all from video chat rooms.
