[Case Study] 4 Millions organic traffic/month within 13 months!!

Matt Cutts talked about it in 2013 and that it was okay. The entire basis of search engines going back even before the early days of google is based upon the principle of linking together. Just because some idiots abused the concept of linking together with Public Blog Networks and crap quality Private Blog Networks doesn't make it a bad way of doing SEO.

All those companies have high quality content for the articles on each of their sites with a Branded name, and many are using logos for each brand.

The secret key to becoming great at Internet Marketing and SEO is simple, just study those 16 companies and see what they do.

Just like in the real world, you can't. You stay hunting for small keywords, small websites, and competition you can compete. You take it one step up everytime till you are big enough to compete. But as for now, all you can do is set as a motivation ;)

Hi folks,

Ok whe live in 2020 but this topic, this method is stable and not outdated.
I can think deeper, what I missing here in this thread is, the method they use to build like 60.000 backlinks in 2 months or so....buying backlinks? Google has forbidden it right?

How can normal online marketers with low or zero budget can build such huge backlinks for footer? I do not know....buying form fiverr or clarks pyramid tier backlinks or something, this is not the method these big boys use.

I be tired of such posts all over the net like this, yeah it's interesting but it is all blablablba around the topic, not go deeper, I mean this is the point I missing here
"How the do that" ? Which methods they use? How can I use thes emethods with zero or low budget? No answer here....

Great share :)
What I find really funny is it was really common in the early days to put links in the footer to interlink websites ... Since then, everybody has been claiming this was a bad practice ...
It seems the old way is still profitable (If you have the authority ... or not)
Edit : As we are in the pbn world, what would happen if you just drop a link in the footer of each of your domains ?

I assume both question are the same! How can you replicate this, and this was answered before. Just one reply before yours !! You could just read the replies instead of bumping an old post

Here is the Answer :-

It's all about the authority of the backlinking domains which you can never replicate.

No I wasn't asking how to replicate that ...

That's a long known move to use footer links but just everybody was saying this was a bad move for seo (No one is doing this by now while it was a common practice a decade or more ago) ...

Fact is, if you have the authority (I guess), the "back in the days" methods are still highly profitable !

I was just wondering if the effect would be the same with a pbn without "high authority"... (Regardless of obvious exposure)

Edit : Just to be clear in my pov there's nothing magical : tons of backlinks from great domains with different Ips ... As no one has such a strike force this is a win ... And clearly, even if it is obvious, Google won't do anything about that on the next update :D This was already the case, but It'll be more complicated to get rankings on highly competitive keywords ...

Lol ...
Yes we just have to replicate it ...
Might be possible with a billion dollars :D

All these are under the same company - Hearst Digital Media.

Pretty much all of them (Cosmopolitan, Prevention, Ella, Marie Claire etc.) have the same design template, almost targeting the same keywords, have the same content writers writing in the exact same way, just a few images and 150 product description, and yea, they dominate everything.

Take "best shampoo for hair growth"

The top 3 sites are from Hearst, their content sounds exactly the same, just a few words changed, extremely tiny content, no useful information but they rank.

GG Google

I read a very interesting post 2day about Content, Backlinks and how much time does it take to rank.

So, google really have those major outlines against spamming we all know about. Content is King and don't spam your website or you will get panelized! Well, think again

Bestproducts.com was launched 1 year ago. Now it has 271K backlinks from 1.93K domains. How, Sitewide links, thousands and thousands of sitewide links.

So, how did it work for google?
Great, they receive 3.8 Million visitor each month from 646,000 Keyword in USA alone :D

natty-google.png

Here is a photo from last April, receiving 800K visitors within 6 months of the launch!

So, how did they do it?

Thanks to the company that owns website and owning many and many other brands. They sent thousands of backlinks in the footer and looks like google fall in love with it.

What is really astonishing according to their CEO, it took 6 weeks from agreeing on the idea in the meeting room to launching the website.

What about content?
Please take a look at the content on the website. 10 pics with 150 word description and an affiliate link

Anyway, we always knew that backlinks is everything. but, what is the real rule of content in SEO. here is another example

Content Importance in SEO

About.com made a new website in health niche (and everyone knows how competitive this niche is) and added 50,000 piece of content within two months. How much traffic did they get? NONE ! you can check ahrefs for verywell.com if you don't believe me

So, what did they decide to do? Yup, you guessed it right. Sitewide links from About.com
very-very-well.png

verywell.png

Yup, that is 60,000 backlinks in 3 weeks from same root domain. And the result ?

What is more terrifying is all big brands are doing the same. Let's take a look
jason.png
So basically, at least 85% of the top ten results for any big money making term belongs to one of the brands their.

Both about.com and HEARST said their results with these websites was very promising and they will expand more to cover more Niches

What is your thoughts about this? Backlink Velocity, Content Importance, Spamming and Sitewide Links and the effects of this practice from big brands.

Strong backlinks are more important than content always ( for me at least ).
