Case Study 2 - How To Generate 2K:-3K a month on Autopilot

Here I am going to show you how another one of my site makes more than 3K a month on complete auto-pilot (I did put in 30-35 hours of work in creating the site and content, and 3-4 hours a week publishing some backlinks) and I am going to break it down from the very starting to very end.

It's been more than a few months and I have not been able to publish more case studies just because of the shear volume of work I have to take care of every day.

SO HERE WE GO:

See SEO is really simple, you just need to know the key ingredients and make things automated, and that is more than enough to take you off your lousy day job and make you a full time internet marketer, I have tons of small sites like these which make me a decent earning.

Here is the screenshot from my affiliate account where it shows the sales(member upgrades) I have got in last 15 days:


A member upgrades by buying a bottle of weight loss pills, they come in 3 packs, you can buy a single bottle, 3 bottles (buy 2 get one free) or 6 bottles (buy 3 get 3 free).

I have a beautiful copy on the homepage where I am asking them to buy 6 bottles, as this generates me maximum commission i.e. 75 USD/sale.

I get paid every week, here is a screenshot of balance in my account, You will see it is a little more (actually double) than what sales I have got in last week that is because I haven't taken out money for last 2 weeks or so.


Out of 15 sales in last 15 days, 13 of them are 6 bottles and rest two are 3 bottle sales, so I have netted about 1 sale a day. As the rankings are improving I think we can get to 2 sales a day in next few weeks.

Now let's get to the nitty gritty of the campaign and trace the steps from the very beginning. I will lay down everything in 5 simple steps:

1. Keywords Research:

I have always loved weight loss industry because people are so desperate to make a purchase, they have made up their mind and that gets you the maximum conversion rate.

The niche is hard though, you cannot simply make a 20 page site and get ranked for "loose weight fast" or "weight loss pills".

You need to be smart, here is what I did:

• I searched for all the weight loss pills that are available in the market.
• I knew that ranking for brand name is easier than ranking for generic keywords like "loose weight fast" so I looked up the name of the pills in Google adwords.
• I found one with decent search volume and not so much competition, refer to the following screenshot:

2. Competition Analysis:

Out of 10 products, this was the third I researched for, it's critical to do the right research otherwise you will end up wasting your time, money and resources on something that is never going to be beneficial and most of the newbies fail here.

But this does not mean that you get stuck on this step, don't spend more than 45 mins analyzing competition and keywords.

Okie so, here is what I did in my competition research:

• I searched on Google and saw some sites which were ranking on top, and analyzed their backlink profiles.
• As expected they were not that competitive and it would take me just 2-3 months to beat them and get on top positions.
• Here is a snapshot of backlink profiles of a few of those sites and what completion I was up against, their profile obviously got better with time as these guys were continuously SEOing as well:

3. Setting Up The Website:

Now that I had my mind made up, I simply had to put up a nice converting site together. This took me 2-3 hours to setup the domain on my VPS and set up a paid theme from studiopress.

I use them because most of their themes are mobile optimized, PEOPLE, do not ignore mobile optimization, almost 40% of my traffic come from there. I am sure that by end of 2015 it will be 50%.

The whole process is further split into a few parts:

• Domain Name: I am a big fan of exact match, I chose a domain name which was productname-reviews.com.
• I installed a studiopress theme which looks good for a mommy blogger reviewing weight loss products.
• I made it look really authentic, when someone comes to the site they think it's actually a lady who is running the site and has mentioned her real life experience.

I hope this gives you enough ideas and got those creative juices flowing through your head. Just improvise.

4. Backlinking:

Well as we all know, 70% of SEO is still all about generating high quality backlinks, this is my backlink profile:

As you can see, I started on this site in December and I am sending less than 3 links a day, it's continuous process most of the links are scheduled with proper anchor text distribution.

5. Results:

I have already shown you guys my earnings from this site, it' about 3K a month, which is enough for most bloggers or newbies who want to start making some money online.

I myself didn't even pay attention to this site for months, I opened it today after almost a month just because I wanted to make a case study for you folks and give you some direction, here are the current rankings of this site:

So to wrap this up, I wish you guys all the best and want to let everyone know that earning 40-50K a month from SEO is not tough if you know what you are doing.

I am not very heavy on tier 2 links, but i do use them every now and then. Where did you see 11K backlinks?

Thanks for pointing me here,, I am not sure where SERPBOOK gets it's metrics from, I mainly use ahrefs and majestic.

Very nice case study. I was thinking to do product review site other day. What is your opinion on broad product review site in one niche?

I have seen a site which makes more than 100K a month, broad product review in weight loss niche. only thing is you are putting all your eggs in one basket.
So if an update hits that site you have lost everything, I prefer launching 100s of sites, it keeps me safe.

It's a lot of work but I can not go bankrupt in a single day.

Also you said you used clickbank for money, if you sold them 6 bottles of pills and you receive ~80$, how much are the 6 bottles for the buyer?

Also how come you get such good conversions when the visitor literally has to pay 100-200$+ for the 6 bottles

I thought there is No Such thing as Auto Money Generation in 2015. But here it is, I'm reading a Real Case Study. Interesting. Question What Tools you use for 2nd Tier? GSA? or some other?

1. My first tier backlinks are from blog network,
2. The 6 bottle pack is for 180 bucks and commission is 75 bucks as I said before,
3. I get high conversions because of the pre-sales that my blog does, The leads which are sent to the advertiser site are very high quality.

I have heard alot about GSA, but haven't really used it,

I am a fan of good old fashioned SENUKE XCR, but to be honest what reallly matters is your 1st tier backlinks,, I have ranked tons of sites with just 1st tier backlinks,, no 2nd and 3rd tier involved.

What kind of Tier 1 links do you build?

1) What kind of anchor text you used
2) Best converting Keyword is the one with most volume ?

Nice, I want to try this in the future but unfortunatey I don't own a PBN and it's out of my budget to make/maintain one so I don't know if I should try since it wont be that easy to rank compared to you.


Also any tips on increasing conversions?

Is this with Amazon or a different affiliate network out of interest.

To be honest, I don't see so many facts here. You showed us how you ranked a website with 10781 backlinks. That's what's in the screenshot.

Your affiliate screenshot looks like quickly done in Excel.

I don't want to be rude, but I don't see too many reliable facts here. You stay VERY brief and vague in your real methods.

"Just build high quality backlinks with relevant anchors after doing good research about your niche" - well, no shit. Gee, thanks for that hint.

I'm more inclined to think you have something to do with the studiopress theme. But maybe I'm just paranoid.

Hey I have a question. When you say you're into starting hundreds of money websites, how do you set them up with hosting, google webmaster account, domain registrar etc. I'm thinking if you have them all at the same place it can affect each other when sites get hit?
