Captcha Cracking - Decaptcher.com

In short, they are a CAPTCHA cracking service, 2 bux for 1000 cracks.

Has anyone had any experience with decaptcher.com? They provide nothing, not even assurance that the aren't some sort of anti-spam org.

I signed up to test them out and they provide cracks within 10 to 15 seconds, which is totally reasonable, but I have my doubts about ulterior motives.

-- edit - when i say they provide nothing I mean that they provide no information about who they are.. which in the end is probably to be expected.

Yes, I just made a 10 USD payment!
Tried google captcha and they solved it and respond in about 10 sec.
It's good!

AFAIK this isn't some honeypot or anti-spam site. They get barely educated people from India to solve CAPTCHA's for very low rates. That's why they can provide the service at such low rates.

I assume you aren't inputting them yourself but have a team that does it for you? Yeah, the rates are alright for the people who provide such services. But obviously when converted to USD its very cheap due to different economies.
I am from India btw and I know people who do this stuff though I don't do CAPTCHA entry.

ive been meaning to code something using one of these sites. maybe today is the day. its either that or spend countless days coding a captcha breaker. fuck that.

I did all that and I keep getting connection refused. My port if 4105 and I think we all use the same IP.. I am using hostgator. What hosting are you using?

To test it I used my localhost - it worked but now when I uploaded to hostgator it shows timeout also.

Nah, I guess it may be something with fsockopen function.
I will try to set up php4 settings

I just tried with a godaddy account it gives an unable to connect error.

I'll add the VB6 API works great.

Yea, but it is for windows if I remember correctly.
I will try to replace the fsockopen with cURL

If you still did not get it to work ask your server admin to open the port you are using. Got mine to work on hostgator.
