Can’t Whitelist BHW using NextDNS

It hurts when I see this icon while visiting BHW but I can’t do anything. I’m using NextDNS to block unnecessary ads and I have tried whitelisting bhw domain (wildcard) but it still shows up. I would like to whitelist BHW. I would like to ask mods to send me the list of the ad provider so maybe I can whitelist the specific domains or the providers.

You'll need to disable the adblocker for all the functions on the forum to work properly.

You can turn it back on when you navigate to another site but for BHW to work for you, or for anyone actually, your adblocker needs to be disabled.

It's a dns request, so it could be cached. If you have whitelisted BHW, then perhaps wait for a day and see what happens. I do not think BHW can do anything about it, anyway. The whitelist exist on your provider's service, and not on BHW.

Edit: By the way, The error could be originating from another third party domain (and not blackhatworld.com). So, allowing blackhatworld.com wouldn't really help if that is the case.

An easier (but free) alternative would be to use pihole (just get a rpi zero and install pihole on it) to block ads and stuff. That whitelist works pretty quickly in my personal experience. Plus you get to choose exactly what you allow or block (even the internal queries, not just a website).

Yes ofcourse I wasn’t blaming BHW. I was just asking for suggestions. Thanks I’ll just whitelist BHW and wait for sometime.
