Cant get my shortcode to work

hey everyone, i am building a site using wordpress, and i have a plugin i am using to accept donations for cancer and i cant get the shortcode to work. the installation said all i need to do is place [donateextra] on the page i am creating. when i do this it just appears as [donateextra] and not the actual plugin, please help!! thankyou

Can you share the plugins name or share that plugins then it will be easier to solve problem like this.
