I'd be surprised if any of that still works, unless you are talking to a very retarded Account Manager.
Refusing to provide a website for approval because you had one "stolen"? What, you just typed in the address one day, and there it was, gone! My response to that would be - If you don't trust me as your Account Manager to just take a look at your website and confirm that it's up to standard, why should I trust you with any of my offers? Then I'd reject you.
Saying you don't need a website because you are going to do email marketing isn't a bad idea, but you're still going to be rejected.
Before I let you start sending the emails, I'll give you all the creatives etc, but they won't be activated on the network until you send me a proof email so that I can see how you've laid out the email, and don't try sending it from your gmail, if it doesn't come from a proper domain, you're just gonna get laughed at. Using fake names and addresses won't work, those also get checked, we can tell that your "office" in California is a trailer in Utah ;-) and I'll call you as well, just for the hell of it. And if by some chance you do manage to slip through and get an offer, with traffic monitoring tools we can tell the traffics not genuine and everything you send us will be rejected before it even gets to the advertiser so you won't get paid. And even if we didn't do all that stuff and just let anyone in, those crappy leads will get rejected by the advertiser anyway, and you still won't get paid a dime after going to all that trouble. Putting it simply, if you want to get paid, just do it right, it's easier. That guide might have worked back in '07 when it was written, but now? There's plenty of social marketing networks that love facebook traffic, stick with them if that's what you want to do.
