The inability to change information can be due to many reasons. Mainly because your account creation has not been logged in for enough time to warm up your account. You log in and change too often, leading to Facebook flagging your account. Please wait a while.

First you save the login device and use the phone number to confirm again, it will be seen by facebook that is the starting place

Facebook blocks information changes because it detects a new device to protect your account. Please:

Log in from a familiar device.

Wait 24–48 hours for the system to verify.

Do not use strange VPNs or change IP addresses frequently.

Keep your activities natural to avoid further restrictions.

That's right, I think you should wait a little longer. It seems like you need to change things one by one. Change your password, change your avatar, change your email, and then change other things. Each time you exchange, you should wait 2 to 3 days. During those 2 or 3 days, your account still operates normally to increase reliability.

Take your time and change one thing at a time. Begin with updating your two-factor authentication code and password, then after a few days, proceed to change the Hotmail account.

Ensure there are no recent security flags or unusual login attempts from your account, as this can trigger temporary restrictions on account changes.

but some accounts need more time. you need more time and you should change one thing at a time like change 2fa code and password first,

There is no specific time frame. The first thing you can do is change your password, then try to use it as a real user, usually after 1-2 days you can change all other information.

Wait times vary per account just stay active with natural actions like browsing, engaging, and building trust on the new device.

Only one item can be changed at a time. After each change, you should wait for 2 to 3 days. During this period, it is best to use it normally.

Yeah, FB’s been way stricter with changes from new devices lately. Used to be a couple days, but now I’ve had to wait up to 10+ days before it let me update anything. Just make sure you keep logging in from the same IP/device daily, that seems to help. Super annoying, but it usually clears on its own if the account doesn’t get flagged in the meantime.

If you are logging in from a new device or new ip address and trying to change the details at the first login then you are being monitored by facebook which can also lead to blockage by asked ID verification. I would suggest you to get the account warmed up first and change the details one at a time on a safer side

increase the trust of the account and device, then it can change. Change password, change photo, change email,

Just a heads-up for anyone dealing with Facebook’s security delays - if you log in from a new device, they often make you wait 7 to 14 days before you can change things like your password, email, or 2FA settings. Its their way of making sure it’s really you and not someone trying to hijack your account,in the meantime, make sure you stick to using the same device,IP address, and browser - and definitely dont clear your cookies. Some people have had better luck speeding up the process by doing regular stuff on their account, like liking posts or commenting, or by switching to the mobile app instead of a browser. Also, linking your account to Meta Business Suite or Instagram might let you get to the security settings a bit sooner
