If I have a boatload of duplicate metadata issues, can I place canonical URLs on them? Some of the pages are currently ranking but I would rather have another page rank.
Try to get the most relevant to rank in the top 10 and avoid any others for the same term unless its a brand term and or they both convert equally well for you and you can take the risk of the wrong one ranking or deranking due to relevancy issues
