Cannot Login: 407 Proxy Authentication Required

After I updated the IG app to the latest version, I can no longer login to my device! Error message says
Proxy H*T*T*P status: 407 Proxy Authentication Required
I can still login through the browser (with the same proxy) and everything works. It is just the app!

How can I resolve this?

your proxy is not working, or the program isn't specifying it correctly or you are using on a different machine that is no IP authed, or you are using the wrong userrnameassword or are not including the usernameassword

the 407 is clear. You are using a proxy and the proxy is not letting you through

The proxy is working fine. This problem appeared just after I had updated the IG app, has to be something with the app that's buggy. I am using the same device as I always used so I'm thinking it can't have anything to do with the "machine"/device. I inserted the correct Username and PW of the proxy and my IG account. So this cannot be the issue. That's why I'm so confused. THe proxy is working, just not with the IG app. It's really weird!

ahh you referring to using the proxy on your phone?

Are you sure you have entered it correctly? the 407 is clear, proxy issue in the http stack 99/100 this does tend to be user error
