Can you still make money blogging about normal everyday life?

Or does it have to be a blog that's about a specific niche?

You can make big money, with good strategies.
1. Find a niche
2. Create a good quality website with good design and good sped.
3. Create high-quality unique SEO-optimized content. ( If possible above 700 words )
4. Once you are 3 months doing so constantly start creating some niche backlinks.
5. Wait and keep working until you get your first traffic.
6. Monetise your traffic, and congrats now you made money from blogging.

This can take from 6 months to 2 years, if you put in the work it will take less time!

Don't be afraid of start, just start.
 
While instagram, twitter, tiktoks etc are the 2022 equivalent of traditional blogging, i'm curious if the old style of a "brick and mortar" website blog about daily life is able to generate revenue.
 
No you can't!

We're too many trying to make less than peanuts. Get an offline job dude.

No way here anymore, the door is entirely closed on you now. It is now 2022 October with scary update you can't come up against. It's brutal. It's difficult. Challenges here and there waiting for you. You won't make a cent. Sit down grind all you want, it's futile.

Blogging is for legends. Only legends who don't care if they eventually made nothing.

If you want to survive on internet and make money you need to have multiple streams of income
You can not make with single product or work like blogging, it takes long time.
Try other methods like...
Vlogging on youtube on any topic
learn skills and work as a freelancer
sell physical products on amazon or etsy
resell email lists from emaillistusa dot com
resell PLR/MRR products from buyplrebooks dot com
Flip website for huge profit on flippa
join clickbank or cj or jvzoo and work as an affiliate
join cpagrip or cpalead and earn from CPA offers
try 3 to 5 ways to survive as an online money maker
If you just depend on blogging, you need another birth to make real money
 
Blogging about normal life won't get you far and isn't recommended at all.

People make videos on their daily lives and that's far better than writing about them.
 
All the influencers in my country quitted blogging about their daily lives many years ago
 
Now it has to start with excellent keyword research. Most of the people ignore this aspect itself and then face loss.
 
It depends. You gotta find a way to promote your blog; since you're blogging about your everyday life, there's no SEO - keyword research. If you can promote it via other ways than Google, then it's doable.

Anyway, nowadays, it's better to start a niche blog and focus on SEO. Do proper keyword research and write articles based on the search keywords and their volume.

Cool. But in my opinion, starting a blog and planning to make it actually successful requires some finances.

OP maybe look into social media, PPC, and push notification traffic. Nothing is free in this world. Good luck!
 
Such questions have been popping up since day 1 and the answer has been the same..Yes!
 
Why do you say "still"? The blogs are actual as never before. Personally I read many of blogs on topics I'm interested in.
 
If you want to blog about your day to day life then my suggestion would be to create vlogs on Youtube and couple it with a wordpress blog. This will help you grow a closed community that enjoys your content irrespective of the keywords and SEO thing.

Make videos on your daily life, post them in your You tube channel and then embed those videos in your blog along with some good text content. In a due course of time you will be able to make money via You tube vlog as well as your Wordpress blog.

I'm guessing you could if you put affiliate links in some of your posts. But overall is not really a very easy niche to monetize. Personal blogs have always been for fun/as a hobby.
