How important is it to add links (to other site pages or YouTube) in my website's bio?

Can you have too many? What's a good number to aim for?

Just want to make sure I'm helping visitors without hurting my SEO.

Here’s how I usually do it: if you’re a YouTuber, link to your YouTube channel and two other social media profiles. If you’re on TikTok, make that your first link, followed by two others. And if you offer professional services, your LinkedIn profile should definitely be one of them. Linking up to three social media pages is more than enough for 99% of people. Make them all nofollow.
