Hey guys,
I heard from someone that you can keep Google Ads campaigns running without actually spending any money. Not sure if that’s true or how it would work, so I just wanted to ask if this is actually possible on Google or Meta.
Just trying to understand how it really works.

No, you can’t run Google Ads without spending money, it only runs when you pay.
 
I also want to know that trick or magic , how is that possible ?

Kinda feels like hoping the vending machine spits out snacks for free. The closest workaround I’ve found is using promo credits to stretch things a bit, but they dry up fast. If your goal is just to test ideas, you can set tiny daily budgets and super narrow targeting so you spend pennies instead of dollars. It keeps things moving without burning a hole in your pocket.

not really possible to run ads for free unless you have a coupon or ad grant for nonprofits. if it's active but zero spend, it means your ads aren't actually showing to anyone because of low bids or account issues. maybe they meant using free credits but you still have to add a card.
 
No, you can’t run Google Ads or Meta ads without spending money ads only show when your budget is active. Sometimes you may get free credits or trials, but normal campaigns always require payment
 
Not really possible, ads only run when there is budget. you can create campaign and keep it paused with no spend, but if it’s active and getting clicks/impressions then money will be charged for sure. same with meta ads also, no spend = no real traffic.
 
yes i think Google and Meta ads require a budget to run and you can reduce costs with good targeting but you can’t run campaigns completely free.
 
There are two ways but non of are working 100% correctly.

1. Threshold accounts (from $10 to $450) , this type of accs are getting dusted by google so it's hard to find

2. Monthly invoice accounts (you pay to google at the end of the month). This way is used by agencies mostly. I've seen some are selling this like pay $600 and spend $1000.

Both are trash nowadays as you will get scammed because of the greed lol. good luck
 
You can keep a campaign active, but if it’s eligible and getting clicks or impressions, it will normally spend, so there’s no real way to run ads indefinitely for free.
 
Google Ads and Meta Ads need money to deliver ads. You can pause them or keep the setup ready, but getting actual results without spending is not possible.
 
When I was learning Google Ads, I used to create campaigns just for practice without spending any money, so I think you can practice without actually running paid ads.
 
There is no normal setting that lets Google or Meta ads run with traffic but charge you $0. If the ads get paid clicks or impressions, you can be charged.
