Can you disable the comment feature on your Instagram posts?

Hey guys,
a few weeks ago I was able to disable the comment feature on my Instagram posts so that others weren't able to comment my pictures. But after a few days this feature was gone. Do you guys still have this feature?
(When you're on your post and use the top right button where you can delete your post as well).
Celebrities like Selena Gomez have the comments deactivated on some of their posts, too.

I dont have this option but would be very helpful for some...
 
on normal accounts you can't .

They probably thought only celebrities & popular accounts can do these things...
But guess not just them. I don't think I have the option either & I just updated the app.
 
I think you have to get to a particular account size before the feature is permanent
 
Its not available for me on my 60k account using android app. Don't have an iphone to check that, but sometimes the software has different options on diferent platforms.
 
I dont think you can, but maybe just try to google it ? =)
 
I don't think you can disable comments.
This will be helpful though.
 
I have this option on one of my two accounts. You guys have an idea for getting this on the other one?
 
i believe some of these extra options are part of "rolling" updates, where only certain accounts will get certain features to test it out. i have a different sorting system in my notifications on some of my accounts verses my others such as a new "people" category so it's: FOLLOWING ACTIVITY PEOPLE instead of FOLLOWING YOU in my notifications tab.

its different but all on the same phone and instagram is updated.
