Any tips for a beginner for best ways to do this with phone camera videos?
YesI've avoided the YouTube game, but with this new generation havibg the attention of fleas and seeming to spend hours just watching videos it seems I must get some knowledge and begin.
I have zero camera equipment nor a webcam or microphone. Never needed it, so don't have it. (I don't even have wifi at home, just phone data, and have made money with IM)
So my question is, can I get by with an S10 phone camera for the first year of dappling with YouTube?
Edit: I do use a laptop, just no webcam on it.

wrong.short answer no
not everyone will be successful on yt. not everyone who grinds consistently will succeed even with the best equipment.I know who is preparing since a decade to make that first step. They bought cameras, lighting and a high end pc. They still waiting.
yea this is a point i forgot to mention.phone cam is good enough to make nice videos
get a wired external mic for audio and a tripod/stand
some basic video editing skills helps to start, watch for tuts on YT, it takes minimum 10 mins to 1 hour to learn basics
use audacity for audio editing to improve quality of audio
