Can wordpress handle 10 million+ directory listing ?

hi,
i want to make a directory site. i saw there are wordpress themes and plugins available for that. But
- i have a huge database more than 10 million business listing.
- using google location and map api for locality filters.
- i m expecting ten thousand of daily traffic .
- keyword search will be a auto-complete search on the basis of the name of all business listed and all categories (4000+) .

CAN wordpress be a good platform for such a huge project ?
- i'll go with a good dedicated server. it'll be good if you guys can tell how heavy server do i need for this.

Yes it can handle that.
There are many large sites that use wordpress so 10 million pages is not a big problem.
Although you need to do some load balancing or use a CDN like Cloudflare. Server is going to play important role as well, use hosting with solid state drives and ensure you have allocated enough ram to MySQL.
You will need to hire a consultant for this.

Off the shelf product like Wordpress can work with 10m pages. However performance, securirty, feature wise it is a same issue as with any other off the shelf product. It will work, but any custom web application will kill it in every aspect.(sorry cost wise, it will be much deerer)

It's more so about your server/host. If you have a dedi (which I would recommend just for the data security + requests being processed) you'll be just fine.
