Can/Will you quit using google?

Its hard to break the user habit.

Unless the new company can offer something advance, unique, with wow factor.

Like how Facebook beat Myspace. Or Google beat Yahoo. Worth to migrate.

But if they come out with another clone, just for the sake to break Google monopoly, like wikipedia does with another Facebook clone. Its not gonna go anywhere.

Great list. Even tho im not a fan of google, having all the services you might need in one place is just too appealing!
 
Well I ditched Facebook on New Years eve (11.45pm) and want to do the same for Google this year.

The problem is when you own niche sites and do tons of keyword research it's difficult to avoid Google altogether.
 
When you see how much of a marketshare it has over search engine traffic, it is impossible, from an SEO perspective not to give Google all of your time and effort. You need all the traffic they provide. As much as I hate how they can crush your site in an instant, they are the biggest source of traffic for most sites on the internet.
 
I recently changed from Google to Ecosia for the environmental benefits.
Ecosia plants trees with its profits.

No and no. And duckgo is an affiliate site which means it does track you and its results are most likely biased.
