CAN WE MONETIZE CREATIVE COMMONS VIDEOS?

Hello guys, can I upload creative commons videos to youtube and monetize them (make money from them using adsense) or not? I know creative commons videos are for re-use but I dont know if they are for monetization.

Yes, YouTube allows monetization of their Creative Commons videos.

Just remember, not all "Creative Commons" videos on YouTube are truly creative commons. If one guy copied a TV show (copyrighted), uploaded and marked it "creative commons", it is not truly creative commons. Along comes somebody like you, sees "creative commons" and reuploads. The middle-man did not have the right to offer the video as creative commons.
